Trick or treat candy in carryon?

We had a blast at MNSSHP! Now I'm packing to fly home and wondering if all that candy is ok in our carry-on bags? I seem to recall food being fine with security as long as it's not liquid.

We carried ours thru. Four of us - must have been about 30 pounds!

If the food holds shape outside of its container, it is allowed through TSA in unlimited quantities.

Yes, its fine. FYI, if you give chocolate to the flight attendants they'll treat you like royalty.
