Hi,

Still in the research phase for going to SW this spring.

Online, I can buy one day passes that are discounted 10%. They also have a "bounceback" pass where you buy one day and get a second day free (must be used w/in 7 days). My question: Is the bounce back available only online?

Question 2: Has anyone stayed in the immediate vicinity of SW and have a hotel they could recommend?

Thanks again for your help!:D

It's worth checking if they are selling the Bronze annual pass. Last year this was on sale for basically the price of a daily ticket and was good for entry to SW up to Dec 31st. I think they may be on sale again at the moment.

I can help on the hotels near by. I save the text in a file and paste it here when people ask. Sometimes the links don't work, if that happens, goto the hotel web sites and look it up.

4 hotels within walking distance.
Of coarse, everyone knows the Renaissance Resort is literally across the street and the closest. Info is here.

Next to it, is the Hilton Garden Inn. Info is here.

Hilton Grand Vacation Club info is here.

Next is the Sheraton World Resort. Go here, type in Orlando, then look for World because the link is so long after the search.

I'd say the Sheraton is a little bit farther away than the Hilton, but not by much. It's about a 10 minute walk with kids, I'm sure they can do it.
If it was my choice and money wasn't the issue I'd stay at the Renaissance. I've stayed there and it's incredible. Scroll down my site and you can see pics of a room and the atrium. During our stay, we went back and forth a few times. If you're staying at any other hotel, you probably wouldn't run back to your room if you forgot something. Whereas, with the Renaissance, you're right there.

If you want to save some money, then look into the Hilton or Sheraton.
