UPDATED - Days 25 and 26 DISNEYLAND

Aussie Wendy - It was great having my mum along. Although I totally wore her out and she has made it clear she will not be coming and doing my style touring again! :rolleyes1 We would have never considered ourselves "cruisers" either but we are converted!

Jade - I could park at Castaway Cay the whole time as well! :beach: You'll have to let us know how the Mexican Riviera cruise goes. We are keen to do that in 2013.

PIO - You should seriously dope yourself up and try a Disney cruise. Seriously it would only be for 3 days! (to start you off! ;))

Shushh - I would've been sooo disappointed if we had to skip Castaway too. So you have plans to cruise again in 2013?

Back on dry land! :cool1:

And yes, I am seriously considering a cruise....(who said that? Did I really say that???)...

Thanks for sharing the airboat ride in Boggy Creek. I've always wondered what that was like.

Ah yes. LA....glad to see you have similar impressions of it as I do.

Looking forward to 6 days worth in the next 2.5 weeks! :thumbsup2

Hurray for updates! that's a shame about WDW. I would be cranky too. As for cruises, yes we are planning to return to the WDW Dec 2013 and do a cruise on the Fantasy. Hopefully the trip will happen and that we will end up visiting Castaway Cay!

I love your blog. It's so similar to the trip I want to take with my family in a few year so it's great to read everything you did.

I'm not a fan of LA either. Your condo looks wonderful in Anaheim, and if I needed any more convincing that I NEED to do a Disney cruise, you've done it :)

Great updates! I noticed that you had Day 27 up as well :thumbsup2.

Thanks for the food porn of Cheesecake Factory. I really love eating there. DH tells me that there is going to be one opening up down the road from his office in Silicon Valley.....that means that next time he goes, I'm on the plane too. I just haven't told him yet. :lmao:

I don't get In n Out either. I guess its like everything else...you either love it, hate it or are indifferent to it. I'm in the 3rd camp.

Thanks for sharing.

Just caught up. I too have fears of WOC being an anticlimax. I am superexcited but worried that I am too short to get a good view, and I don't like waiting in line for too long for anything. Jonah being one good reason!

Enjoyed reading about your "relaxing" days. I think sometimes I need to plan some of those into mine holidays. I tend to go at a hundred miles per hour.

Your photos of Mickey's Fun Wheel are amazing!

I agree about the WOC seating, I understand that it means that less people will be able to see it at a time, but atleast then everyone *will* see it!

I paid the extra for the lunch at Wine Trattoria to get the "premium" standing area for WOC. was right at the very front, slightly to the left, still had two or three rows of tall people in front of me - and then they all held up their cameras and video recorders!

Before the show a CM came around selling ponchos and we found out why. Of course, water that goes up 200ft in the air has to come down. and it came down on us. :umbrella:

So I thought getting one level back - up one tier may be better - a bit higher, and perhaps not so wet.

Still an amazing show and very emotional and enjoyable.

Have fun!
