US 50 across Kansas

Anyone made this drive in recent years? I did it as a kid, but it’s been a long time. Considering this route over I-70 to get my kid to college in the fall. It’s shorter, but more time consuming.

Haven't touched it in a LONG time, because I35 covers a lot of the same ground. Where are you headed that you're considering US50?
