As that article says, the person who took the photo was probably referring to the restrooms at Club 33. Everyone already knows that those exist.

My guess is that there are celebrities who do not use the public bathrooms, but go backstage.

One year we were at Epcot well before they let annyone inside and my daughter suddenly had to go to the bathroom pretty badly. A security guard let her inside before they let anyone else in and walked her to the bathroom and back to me. She felt like a vip lol.

We had taken an Uber who wasn’t sure where to go so they drove in the regular parking lot. It was a gate for people who drove and parked in the regular lot. We were there really early for some reason. It was far to the left of the bus and monorail arrival areas. The security guard took her in and to a bathroom to the left of that gate. I don’t remember much more than that. Just that she was very happy about it. There was only a handful of people at the gate at the time waiting to get in.

My understanding is that some rides (notably RoR) do have restrooms in backstage areas that guests may be escorted to if an urgent situation arises in a lengthly queue. That's at CM's discretion in those areas, and the CM must wait and escort the guest back.

Yes, this is true. A CM escorted me and my daughter to one of these bathrooms when we were waiting for RoR. It's basically a building/trailer with a bathroom. There were several other people in need of the bathroom escort during one of the times we waited as well.

That's weird - there are bathrooms outside of that gate, before you get to security.

No idea but we didn’t see them and the security guard didn’t say anything about them. I feel like it would have been easier to use them but maybe they weren’t open? Idk. There was just a handful of people at that entrance. I don’t even remember the year. It was the one and only time we ever accessed the park from that area. All other times we came through the bus security where they had tables when they used to check all of your belongings by hand and recently via skyliner to international gateway.

Occasionally when a huge celebrity comes to the parks, like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift level, Disney will use backstage areas to move them around, rather than just walking through the parks with a VIP guide. And I wouldn't be surprised if they let them use the cast member restrooms.

I am a GM employee, and yes those bathrooms are pretty sweet. Plus they have sodas and fast wifi.

According to a CM, there are not any specific VIP restrooms. However, VIPs can have access to the CM restrooms.
