Washing a Minnie mouse dress Question?

Hello everybody. First of all not sure if this is the right place but I'll ask here.

I own this Minnie mouse dress here.

And my Question is after wearing twice it's time to wash it.
But I read the Minnie mouse cameo part on the dress broke off.
And that is the best part of the Dress is there a way to protect it?
Do I use food wrap on it or what?

As I will be wearing the dress every time I go. Thank you,

What does the label say? What fabric is it? Can you dry clean it? Can you hand wash it and hang it to dry? If the fabric is safe to wash and machine dry, I might try to carefully remove the decorative part and convert it to a pin for easier removal whenever the dress needs cleaning.

I have the same dress. I turned it inside out and washed it on the gentle cycle then laid it flat to dry. I've had no problems with the cameo.
