water mouse on bay lake/seven seas lagoon

A friend who recently stayed at the Poly said that when she rented the boats she was restricted to seven seas lagoon. I have rented these many times and have always been able to take them over to Bay Lake. Does anyone know if there has been a change or perhaps my friend is mistaken?

I have always seen the water mice crossing over to Bay Lake. We have every time we have rented them.

I have seen them crossing over many times. She may have just misunderstood or either they have changed the rules. Perhaps she got a newer CM. I hope you can cross over, I plan on getting on in July from WL and taking DD around and I want to ride over to see the castle while we are riding.
