I'm not a fan of the restaurants near the Wharf. I highly recommend the Ferry Building. There is something for everyone there, the food is great, lovely views, just a wonderful place to visit, and easy access via BART or Muni (or, if you like walk, you can walk to the Ferry Building from the Wharf).
Here's a list of the restaurants there.

Slanted Door (you need reservations) and Gott's are great, plus you can get great picnic type food (the best bread, cheese and salumi) from Acme, Cowgirl Creamery and Boccalone. There's a great ice cream place, a little Mexican place, etc. Plus a local bookstore and some other shops.

Pretty close to the Ferry Building, you can go for a chocolate tour and tasting at Tcho, which is at Pier 17.

If you want to do a fancier restaurant in that location, I like One Market. But there are a million high-end, destination restaurants in SF -- if you want another recommendation, or a specific neighborhood, let me know.

I almost always take visitors to Dim Sum at Yank Sing in Rincon Center. It is awesome, and a great location too. Another great higher end restaurant in that area is Boulevard.

Hi, I'm hoping you can help me with places to eat in San Francisco. We will be staying near Fishermans Wharf and we are a group of 5 adults. Ofcourse the only problem is that we do not eat seafood. I have looked on Trip advisor but there wasn't much there.
