talk to at a college to see what classes you should take and such. Like where do I start? I plan on taking only 1 course to get my feet wet. I get 100% tuition paid by work so I have plenty of time to take it slow while I work full time too. I just dont know where to start to even ENTER the college scene. HELP!

Counslors. If its for a specific major go to that specific college and talk to the counslors there if its for like a GED class there are some general counslors you can talk to somewhere.

For most schools, you need to start with Admissions - they have all the paperwork and such for full time and part time students. They are usually the ones that do everything that needs to be done to get you "into the system"

Then look for an academic advising office. They should be able to help you figure out what might be a good course for you depending on your interests.

Good luck!

Depending on the size of the university you may be able to speak with some of the professors in the academic school you are interested in. For example, if you were thinking of an accounting course, you could try speaking with one of the accounting professors to give you an idea of what the course involves. Again, this may depend on the size of the university, but setting up a meeting can be helpful. :)

They should have advisors, even if you're not in a specific major yet, that you can talk to, they'll help you out with the process of selecting a good course to take and getting registered for it.
