I still need to purchase our return flight for August but have been holding off until our plans are finalized. Is waiting a good idea?

That is really hard to guess right now.... They are estimating that a lot of people will not be flying and the airlines have already announced that they will be cancelling and combining flights before they fly planes around 90% empty.. United has said they may cancel up to 50% of their flights during the war.. (if they can even make it through it..) Fares may go down but available seats may drop. It really is a hard one to guess right now. Good luck.

Tickets for our December trip just went from $216.50 to $339.50...glad I bought them when I did!
