Hopefully all this discussion will create more discussions about safety. What I learned is that as a woman I am always told don't walk alone. Walk in a group. These ladies weren't alone. They had each other. Although it didn't prevent their attack it seems like they were able to fight off the attack together. Imagine how much worse it could have been if they had been alone. And maybe...when I am told to go in a group...that maybe should me more than just one other person if possible.
