Yesterday 1/8 was available. I expected 1/9 today, but nothing yet. What time should it be available?

1/8/23 caught me by surprise yesterday, but perhaps I just wasn't paying attention. I was only expecting 1/7.

So today I was ready at 5:45 for 1/9. Nothing at 5:45 and nothing now that it is 6:15.

I didn't understand that I could make a reservation for the length of the stay and I have a split-stay. I think that explains it. Also explains why some some places were already pretty well booked.
