Just because I've had a bad day I've decided to share some of mine. Trust me, they are unpopular.
I believe that since we can eat well and wear clothes and shoes without causing animals to suffer and be killed, we should. (Yes, I'm vegan.)
I think homeopathy and most other alternative medicines are basically scams.
I think what people think of as spoiling children (responding quickly if they cry, giving them lots of physical affection, etc.) is actually beneficial to their mental health (and I can show you research to support that), and that the real way children become "spoiled" is when they are given things instead of love.
I think babies deserve breastmilk and when mothers can't or won't breastfeed they should have human milk banks available to provide milk for their babies.
I think spanking children is as wrong as hitting adults.
In fact, I think punishing/rewarding children in general is unhelpful and that positive approaches are way more effective in the long run.
I think vaccinations are safe and effective, even though they don't provide 100 percent protection and some will have negative reactions to them.
I simply do not understand at all the fascination with celebrities and people like the Kardashians and Sister Wives.
I don't think God exists.
I think that sexuality and gender identity is complex and we'd all be happier if we let people be who they want to be and love who they love.
I'm not impressed, in general, with the school system and think that it needs a complete overhaul to be effective. It was designed to prepare students for factory and office work and today creativity and technical skills are way more important, and the system doesn't support that.
I think we should all be kinder to each other. We all have traumas and burdens; a little kindness would go a long way to helping ease them.
