Just so you are warned, you might get funny looks from people when you say, "Oh, my Mother is calling." When they say, "But it plays Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" (usually in a really squeaky panic-stricken voice), just say, "Oh, I know it's just wishful thinking."

Only one person has been brave enough to eventually ask what my phone plays when they call.

Talk about nonsense that nuns spew...
My DD goes to a Catholic school and the principal is a nun. When DD was in first grade, a boy in her class pinched her in her tushy. She got mad but didn't say anything until she got home. So, I sent in a note the next day and she told her teacher. DD was sent to report it to the principal who then called in the boy. He denied it of course. Sister then went on to tell the child that Officer X was due in at school (DARE program) and that he would administer a lie detector test. Still undeterred, the boy denied it. She then went on to say that if he lied HE WOULD BE ELECTROCUTED!!! The kid freaked out so badly he threw up on her desk. I certainly don't condone what he did, but I think she went waaaay too far!!!

Yikes!

We had nuns when I went to school - I can vividly remember in 8th grade I had Sister Patricia Turner who was a real b****. We weren't allowed to chew gum and this one girl was chewing it - day one she had to put it on her nose, day two she again had to put in on her nose (this is all day!), day three she had to wear it on her forehead between her eyes, day five she had to wear it on her forehead. This girl had long hair with bangs - the gum got caught up a bit in the bangs but not too bad - on the way out of school (she was still wearing it) she shmoshed her hair all in the gum and had it really stuck in there - she came to school on Monday with her hair bangs cut all the way off - they couldn't be more than an 1/8th of an inch long - her parents had no sympathy. I never got caught chewing gum in that class again!

PJ & I were tearing up during the kid's graduation last cruise. We were both bawling by the end of Dreams. Just a warning for y'all.

Well I'm imagining different people at different times. As long as MR is there at ALL times with her smoothy maker. It could be like telephone & we'll pass messages from group to group!

I have a co-worker who to this day will not wear patent leather shoes because the nuns at her Catholic school told her the boys would be able to see up her skirt in the reflection off her shoes. She reminds me of it every time I wear my black patent leather pumps to work.

Oh there were some stupid things that I use to believe too.

Ok, we are starting quite the trend here. I can only imagine the sight we will make singing this to the unwitting, poor pathetic non-DIS bystanders on our cruise who think that we are completely loony.

Last night I was thinking about how we would look to non-DIS'ers when we all met for the first time - all the hugging and what not, we're going to look like a major family reunion!

OK, one last note before bed. I was watchin House last Tuesday, and I learned that Guilt was caused by a B12 deficiency (or was it B6). At any rate, the Wenches don't give us pirates food containing this vitamine when they, say, want some jewelry, or something expensive... Hence the term DIET starts with the word DIE, and is a 4 letter word.

Well, that will definitely make things challenging for me as I live on XS energy drinks whose primary energizing content is B Vitamins. B Vitamins also help you replace adrenlin which is something that decreases as women age . . esp after menopause . . . thus the need of for more Vit B and definitely more energy!!!

Hey, when I was a young'on we used to ride the sky-ride (gondola) at Six Flags over TX and throw "Snaping Pops" down on the unsuspecting passers by; WE NEVER GOT CAUGHT (but they did close the ride for safety reasons)...
