Oh, and BTW.......all of you are going to have to lend me and my family cruise clothing and toiletries..........thank you in advance :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for the info ........ I think. :confused3

Not me ...... ever!

Should we take a poll? ......... NOT!!!

Not me either brack.............The more undergarments the better I always say. Besides what about chaffing? :lmao: :rotfl2:

I am now car-less for tomorrow. I took my car in for an oil change today and told them I heard a rubbing noise in my steering wheel. They said there is something wrong in the power steering and they should have it fixed by late tomorrow afternoon. At least it is still under factory warranty--but aggravating.

Hey there Paula.....sorry about your wheels....but thank goodness it's under warranty. Anything to do with car repair today costs a fabulous fortune!

Thanks for offering to lend us clothing too........I think I might try this "going commando" thing, so I just need outergarments and shoes :rotfl:

I know it's a long time before we leave BUT something that's been nagging me for a few weeks about this cruise.......

How do we go about "one-way" rentals for tuxedos / dinner-suits etc - collecting in California and drop-off in Florida. Coming from the UK, I really do not want to have to bring dinner-suits for me and my son. There'll be enough luggage with he dresses for my wife and daughter without adding to it !! Also, I'll be bringing two rugby jerseys for Castaway Cay !!

Any previous eastbound repo cruisers remember what they did?

Any help, as always is greatly appreciated.

David

The cruise line will use the same company they usually do. The items will be in your room when you board. :) The link to the company is in one of the earlier summaries.

All my pics were taken in the lobby. Once we were let in, I checked my cell phone and camera with Guest Services. Others got in with theirs, but as soon as they took them out, there was someone right there making them go check it.

That was nice of them to provide that service.

That happened to me about 2 months ago - it was the rack and pinion?? I don't know how to spell it. Anyways - it took 2 days to fix and luckily we had the extended warranty so we did not have to pay for it. It is now making that noise again - I need to get it back in there. Good luck with yours!

Question for past cruisers?

I see a lot of mention of renting cars from Budget at the port. But I can't stand Budget and would really rather not rent from them. Is there anyone else who rents at the port and/or has shuttles to their rental locations? I want to rent from the port, stay a few days in Orlando, then return the car to MCO.

Monica - I've used Avis my past 2 cruises and have done exactly this. I'm not sure if there is an additional one-way charge. (I rent under corportate agreement, so no additional charge.) Hertz also picks-up at the port. Again, check to see if there is a 1-way charge.

AR- check to see if you can watch the episode on the CBS web site.

I have TiVo set for this show's regular time plus an hour and a half! I got tired of missing any of it.

I too was disappointed in the end of the last show. :scared1: "Yucky Eating Challenge" would be cool for them but I still want them gone.

Now I am probably glad that I didn't watch the show....it would have made me ill to hear them say how they came in first place because they deserve it BLAH BLAH BLAH. :scared:

Someone posted a link to the company that DCL uses. When I called them last month, I was told that the tux would be in the cabin when we board. After the cruise all I need to do is leave everything hanging in the closet and the crew would get it to the company.

My car is not yet 2 years old and less than 17K miles. Just a little aggravating.

I guess this means you will be going commando?:rotfl2:

Just a quick post to say that I won't be on for a while -- family emergency. We've even had to cancel our cruise for this Saturday.

We're very sorry to hear of your family emergency and cancelled cruise. Hope all turns out somehow managable with a reasonable recovery. We'll be praying for your family tonight.
