Can I just say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new laptop. I have been working doing ketchup for the last 3 1/2 hours and using my laptop with out the dreaded power cord and I still have 46% left of my mega battery. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I think I know what you mean !:) - I get to use DH's work laptop in the evening - love going to sit in my big comfy chair with the cats - instead of hanging at the computer desk all alone in the den!!!!:)

Uhoh - it looks like I am talkin' to myself here - better pace myself in trying to "ketch up"!!!:rotfl:

(mental note to self: take the time to learn how to use multi quote!!!)

:daisy: :flower1: HAPPY SPRING!!!!:flower1: :daisy:

although you wouldn't know it here in Upstate NY: 20's and VERY windy - have my fingers crossed for the upper 50's they are forecasting for Thursday!!!:sunny:

Holy Toledo.....this thread sure has grown since January!! I just thought I would take a look to see what you have been talking about. I didn't realize what I was getting into. I am glad to see this group is getting organized, I now have a lot of stuff to think about! We are not sure yet if we will be flying in 1 or 2 days before the cruise but I for sure don't want to fly in the day of! HoJo's sounds like it's the place to be....I hope there is still room for me! <-----unintentional rhyme!:rotfl2: That is it for now, looks like I will be checking this post daily from now on for updates.

Has anyone done any research on excursions yet?

YAY A day off from work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids have a 1/2 day today. So I took off. Went for breakfast with a friend after kids got on the bus. It's so nice to do things with other grown-ups. Since I don't have to be back at the bus stop til 12 I figuered I tried to cathch up with my DIS friends. In between I am cleaning my wall unit. And all the stuff that goes in it.

Hello to all. I miss you guys. Just been waaaayyy to busy to keep up with the postings.

Stacey--

What if the doctor tells you to cut down on your typing? :scared1:

I hope they are able to help you!

Last night I couldn't have typed if I had wanted to. He ended up giving me a shot of cortisone in the wrist for now, and said to do "absolutely nothing" with that hand for a month, until I see him again. Apparently, everything that the general orthopedic surgeon had done for the last 4 months was wrong. There had been a crack in the bone, and there's a tear in the tendon. Hopefully, the cortisone will take the inflammation down enough to help the tendon heal without having to have surgery.
After the numbing stuff (maybe novacaine?) wore off late yesterday afternoon, I was in so much pain I was cross-eyed. He said it could be 3 days of that pain, but today is much better, so by tomorrow it should (I hope!) be really good. I have no idea how I'll handle some of the rides where I have to really hang on. Of course, DH said "Just don't go on them". Yeah, right!
So any posts from here on out will be short ones.......

Just a quick note to let you know that DD had all her tests today. The Ultrasound with the leading doctor in the State and the MRI arthrogram. She is a bit sore from the needle injections but she is more in pain from having to sit a lot at the hospital and laying still on the MRI table. She says that it will be worth the needle pain if they can find out what is wrong and get her "un-broken". Now we just hope that the people reading the tests results will be able to give us some answers.

Lots of prayers and pixie dust headed your way!!:wizard:

So sorry to hear you have to deal with this and getting ready to go away to celebrate your birthday. Hopefully the cortisone shot will help, I've had many of those shots in my knees and feet, don't like getting them, but they do help me. Take Care Stace, and have a great trip!!! :goodvibes

Me, too. I've had the knees done, my heels, and my spine. But so far, this one hurt the most. Except the time they accidentally hit a nerve when doing my spine.
