Haven't had time the past few months to be at all active on this thread, but, I do check in and read a few pages every now and then. Just wanted to note; my experience is that you can NOT, can NOT, can NOT use WDW passes/tickets at DL. I live in CA and have several times had left over days at WDW. The year that Frances joined us, closing the parks for several days, I was given a few complimentary passes. The CM made them specifically so that I could use them ar DL. Even that didn't work. Most DL CM's won't even try to work with you on this matter.

Nan.....how were the crowds??? We're headed down Saturday thru Tuesday. I bought the kids several sets of matching Disney Store Tee's a few months ago, and I can't find them anywhere. I am SOOO frustrated!!!!

I have stashed trip related items in a suitcase--so I wouldn't forget to take it--and then I forget I have it and surprise myself.

The crowds were pretty good. Or I should say, not that bad. I was really expecting bad lines and we really didn't have anything more than 30 minutes at any ride. Unfortunately no soft opening for Nemo.

Ok, so we just got off the Trans Atlantic Cruise and we are hooked! Does anyone know any travel agents that rooms available for this cruise! There was a room available yesterday through Disney and I did not act fast enough . We want to be on this cruise sooooo bad!

We were told to call DCL every so often as cabins open up every so often because people have to cancel for various reasons. We tried a couple different times and once there was a cabin so we grabbed it.
Give it a go--leave the DCL phone number on a post-it on the refrig and call whenever you have time.

Ok, so we just got off the Trans Atlantic Cruise and we are hooked! Does anyone know any travel agents that rooms available for this cruise! There was a room available yesterday through Disney and I did not act fast enough . We want to be on this cruise sooooo bad!

You can also ask DCL to put you on a wait list. I know our TA has said that rooms keep opening up on the WB cruise, but the EB has not had anything because they are already WAY overbooked for that one. Otherwise, getting a good TA involved is about your best bet.

Did you try to rebook the western while onboard? Any info on that would be appreciated. I am already booked but wanted to see if there was a price difference.

Good morning. Looks a beautiful day, but seems we are in for sun and showers - April weather I think. Well we did miss our normal April weather as it was hot, dry and sunny!!

I saw another thread that Disney was pulling the Flying Dutchman from Castaway Cay. I had been chatting with my Disney source, so I asked her to check on it. Apparently, the movie 'prop' isn't holding up to the elements. There's a plan to build a 'weather-proof' replica for Castaway Cay, but the Flying Dutchman might not be at Castaway Cay when we get there in May 2008.

Oh, I will be gutted if we don't get to see it. We go in December so I hope it is still there then. A Disney replica just doesn't have the same appeal like the plastic UKin Epcot!!

Don't give it up as I was disappointed when I find out that all sold out in January. I saw on disneycruise.com that several had been cancellation. I emailed to DU then told me that sold out again. Then next day, DU contacted me and told me that one available I took it straight away. That was two weeks ago.

Keep trying and keep eye on disneycruise. com every day morning or night.

I was told that they are not keeping waitlist anymore. Only if for 1-3 Cat - yes waitlist for WB cruise!!

Well I called DCL this morning. They said those rooms were not available through their system. Then they looked online and saw they were. So right now I am at there mercy. I think we should be ok getting a room and joining you guys!

I am still temped to do the eastbound transatlantic but with airfare this cruise is cheaper and it is seeing something new! Plus our trip home from Barcelona was a NIGHTMARE. I am not sure I want to start a vacation off heading back to that place.

Barcelona airport was the worst experience I have ever had! I will never fly anywhere that I have to use this airport again.
