Leaving work in a couple minutes for the day. Hope I get this typed on time! Funny thing today at the psychologist appointment. I got there a bit early and the receptionist had to tell me the appointment is actually Thursday, not today. Not so funny, but here's the funny part: She told me she remembers very well setting that appointment because she had a hard time with Tyler's stepmom (Sheilah). She says she told Sheilah she couldn't legally bring a child to an appointment without a biological parent being there and shouldn't even make the appointment, but she allowed her to do so only on the condition that one or both PARENTS were there. She had a horrible time trying to get her to understand that "stepmom" is NOT the same as "parent". LOL! I told her, "Welcome to my world!" So, I told her she's still planning on coming to the appointment, much to my irritation. Receptionist told me, "Oh, don't worry, she can come, but she can park herself in the waiting room because the doctor WILL NOT allow her into the first visit." I CAN'T WAIT to see Sheilah's face when they tell her! I could be nice and inform her of this so she doesn't waste time missing work, but they didn't listen to me before, so I'll just keep my mouth shut and let the professionals handle her. Justice is sweet! Too funny!

To put the cherry on the sundae, I get up this morning to read this letter to the editor in our local paper . . .
Yes, I am a member of this school board. Do I strike you all as this irrational?
They could be wood so we will need the duct tape!
I'll bring it!
typo Lisa . . .
I don't have that same reputation over here . . . I have been a good boy, and for the most part ignoring typos, and not annoying anyone. I save that for my Geek friends . . . although I have been known to pick up on one or two when they are just too funny . . . like lien cuisine . . .
). Here I am hoping that I can even just lose 2 lbs/week...that would be 36 lbs. Doable...very doable. I just need to keep getting off my butt.
Keep at me people PLEASE!!!
Welcome aboard Jackie!

what do people use duct tape for on the cruise?

You might not have known we were popping in to see PJ's room as I arranged it with her when she first mentioned there being an open house for you geeks. I was supposed to be phoning PJ's room from 4.15, but of course you all weren't back!!!
I was very embarassed stopping you coming into AKL, and again waiting for and stopping Dennis and Angie, but I am so glad I plucked up the courage to say hi! My courage had left me however when V and John and girls shot past on the way to the meal as they were a little late I think!!
I have heard of it being used if your suitcase or duffle bag gets ripped by the airlines. It will hold it together until you get back home.
