And my John is 5'4"!!!!! You will all recognise John1 - I had no problem whatsoever in December.

That is correct - Marilyn took me by surprise at AKL since I did not remember or know that she was going to be there. I walked into the lobby and she walked right up to me.

Now, I have this problem - since I have worked in the grocery store business for 30 years, and school board for 10 years, an awful lot of people know me, but I am embarrassed to say I forget names readily.

So when Marilyn walks up to me at AKL, first I think someone has mistaken me for someone else, then I am wondering is she someone who was upset about crushed bananas, or with a school levy . . . until it strikes me (or Amy struck me) I am at WDW . . . and this is someone from the DIS . . . DUH . . .

This happened to me today at Taco Bell driving through - someone waving to me from inside - darned if I can remember the name, but I do know the face . . . who is it? Two hours later I figure it out.

Anyway, don't get mad at me if I forget names. I can be really bad at it!

Leaving work in a couple minutes for the day. Hope I get this typed on time! Funny thing today at the psychologist appointment. I got there a bit early and the receptionist had to tell me the appointment is actually Thursday, not today. Not so funny, but here's the funny part: She told me she remembers very well setting that appointment because she had a hard time with Tyler's stepmom (Sheilah). She says she told Sheilah she couldn't legally bring a child to an appointment without a biological parent being there and shouldn't even make the appointment, but she allowed her to do so only on the condition that one or both PARENTS were there. She had a horrible time trying to get her to understand that "stepmom" is NOT the same as "parent". LOL! I told her, "Welcome to my world!" :rotfl: So, I told her she's still planning on coming to the appointment, much to my irritation. Receptionist told me, "Oh, don't worry, she can come, but she can park herself in the waiting room because the doctor WILL NOT allow her into the first visit." :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: I CAN'T WAIT to see Sheilah's face when they tell her! I could be nice and inform her of this so she doesn't waste time missing work, but they didn't listen to me before, so I'll just keep my mouth shut and let the professionals handle her. :rotfl2: Justice is sweet! Too funny!

You might not have known we were popping in to see PJ's room as I arranged it with her when she first mentioned there being an open house for you geeks. I was supposed to be phoning PJ's room from 4.15, but of course you all weren't back!!!

I was very embarassed stopping you coming into AKL, and again waiting for and stopping Dennis and Angie, but I am so glad I plucked up the courage to say hi! My courage had left me however when V and John and girls shot past on the way to the meal as they were a little late I think!!

'Justice is sweet' - too true.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I look forward to hearing about the meeting too.

To put the cherry on the sundae, I get up this morning to read this letter to the editor in our local paper . . .

Yes, I am a member of this school board. Do I strike you all as this irrational?

Only when it comes to sports! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

They could be wood so we will need the duct tape!

I'll bring it!

Now, now as your sponsor I want to take care of all your needs. And my DH is a duct tape nutjob. Unfortunately I forced him to bring it on our Xmas cruise and we didn't use it, this time I'll have a true reason that we NEED it.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

typo Lisa . . .

I don't have that same reputation over here . . . I have been a good boy, and for the most part ignoring typos, and not annoying anyone. I save that for my Geek friends . . . although I have been known to pick up on one or two when they are just too funny . . . like lien cuisine . . .

okay no more teasing me...I placed that lien I'll have you know :lmao: :lmao::lmao: :lmao:

). Here I am hoping that I can even just lose 2 lbs/week...that would be 36 lbs. Doable...very doable. I just need to keep getting off my butt.

Keep at me people PLEASE!!!

Good job hitting the exercise bike. I, too, have that 2 lbs a week goal. I even bought groceries to eat at home...UNFORTUNATELY, last night I ate enough for two people! :scared1: No leftovers for my lunch today....hmmmmm...this isn't how it's supposed to work.

Welcome aboard Jackie! :cool1:

Thanks! Glad there was room in the lifeboat for me. :thumbsup2

....back to catchup......

What goes around comes around....and you don't have to do anything.....they do it to themselves. Good karma for you....shucks to be them. I love it when that happens. Instant karma!

Monica, Nan and Jackie.....keep up the good work girls.....we want to be down a size or two in four months.....we've got to do everything in our power now so that we can get there. We're determined, we're resolved. We will do it and get it done!

Ok, that's the pep talk for today.....but really gals, we are all doing oh so well and we've got more to go so don't give up yet.

I wonder how the stepmom will react to have to wait in the waiting room? Will Tyler's dad insist she come along as well? Hope it all works out.

And we were so glad you took the time to stalk us also! ;) :rotfl:

I have heard of it being used if your suitcase or duffle bag gets ripped by the airlines. It will hold it together until you get back home.

Yep, we had to borrow some from maintenance at WDW one year for just that purpose. :thumbsup2

We had the realtor tour of our house this morning. Our realtor said it went really well and there is at least one more seriously interested person out of this, the first tour. :thumbsup2 That makes 2 serious and one maybe interested. Keep the prayers and pixie dust coming!

Holly, I would love to be a fly on the wall in that waiting room on Thursday! :snooty:
