Yesterday, well actually Friday, they had a question from someone who said they heard that the school board went on a golf outing that cost the school district $57,000!! They actually printed and answered this question for this person. I have NEVER even golfed a day in my life!

I can just see Monday's questions . . .

I read on the DIS boards that the School Board President wears jewels on his boxers, is this true?

Tell them that you only wear them to sports events, for good luck. Perfectly reasonable. At least they aren't gold lame'.

DCL opens up more reservations at each level of booking 105, 90, 75 and some things at boarding day. (Somebody already said this.) It's best to be on line the moment your level opens, and the folks who got shut out at one level, should try again when the next level opens.

Went to the HM movie yesterday afternoon. The 3D affects were actually pretty good. The bad part was the nearest theatre the movie was showing as at AMC Westgate. The drive is only 7 minutes, but Westgate is where the Super Bowl is being played!! It was crazy!!!

It's nuts...they said there were 170,000 people at the phoenix open yesterday...imagine the superbowl....we went to mimi's after church this morning tonz of football fans...it was packed we live near the phoenix open not the superbowl yet we still got superbowl fans

Benchwarmers sounds better than Fairy Godparents that has been going NONE stop all morning!

Have you guys heard about the RCCL charter that Nick did? I thought my kids where crazy when they said there was a Nick Ship! I guess it is for this summer.

Will we (I speak optimistically ) have different shows for the longer cruise? Do they do special shows?

Also, any word on the entertainment yet for this cruise? I wonder if they got anyone...I didn't hear back regarding Cat. 1 so I imagine whoever got it, kept it.

I sure wonder what happened to Noel...

I am worrying about Noel too.

I did hear about the RCCL Nick cruise...sounds fun...but I trust the Disney cruise kids club better. So we only go RCCL without the kids...its a fun ship though but for us its our adult vacation

Ohmigosh ... I just noticed that noone is currently planning Door Tag (unless I missed something, and if so, please let me know).

I am definitely happy to take the lead on this. Do you all want to play??


In case you haven't played DIS DoorTag ... someone (me in this case) makes up a Door Magnet and then "tags" the door of one other DIS member, who "signs off" and then "tags" another .. and so on. When the magnet is completely filled in (everyone has been tagged), you return in to my door. I will then switch to magnet number 2 ... we can try to get thru several magnets (with so many sea days, we should set a high goal). The kids ... and the kids-at-heart ... all like this one as it is hilarious to see everyone running back to the room to "check" for the doormagnet, the run down the halls to place it as quickly as possible.

I would have prizes for everyone (delivered by my crew to each fish extender or door) after each magnet has been completely signed off.

Oh, and while I am bragging (sorry).....did I ever mention that she worked on this little tiny film here in Salt Lake City that was released on the Disney Channel? Oh......well, she hates when I mention it, because she is a teenager, but here are a few shots from that project (in case anyone happens to recognize it!) (and filming starts here mid April for the third installment which will be released to the big screen. Don't know with Jamie's schedule whether she will be auditioning for it or not)

The kids are all gone now back to Blacksburg. It is a beautiful and sunny day here!!

I stopped at the Deli on the way home and bought 1 pound of turkey 1 pound of ham and 1 pound of Roast Beef....plus 1 pound each of 3 different cheeses and 3 loaves of bread tomatoes and fresh lettace and guess what? Yup...all gone.... I am thinking these kids don't eat at college

The wrote me the nicest thank you note along with a $50 gift card to my favorite restaurant!! Yea!!

Thanks. Alot of the CM's know Jamie. But...she won't be on the PC cruise. She is still in school and I would be cutting into her social life! And, the drill team is going to New York City right in the middle of the cruise for 5 days. (That's why I am not sure if she will be doing HSM III or not because filming starts around middle of April and runs for about 6-7 weeks).

Does she go to East High?
