I just can't decide which one to do in June...I only want to do 1 water park...

We are going to do one for the first time in August. I've decided on BB. Don't know why, really.

Prayers needed for my 24 year old cousin. She has some kind of cancer. My uncle doesn't know what kind. It is female related. Her younger sister died a couple of years ago from kidney failure. She had a kidney transplant and was better for many years but then had a relapse. She died when she was 19 or 20. So sad! My 24 year old cousin has a son. I sure hope she is able to fight whatever it is she has.

I have a Canon Powershot. But I'm odd in the fact that I like a camera that has substance - something I can hold. This camera takes four AA batteries - and you can hold it comfortably in one hand. It takes great photos, gives you basic plus different settings as well as panoramic shots. There are many versions out now based on pixel size and year of production. Takes SD memory cards though...not sure what your Nikon takes.

I have had 3 Canon Powershots and loved each one! I have my Panasonic now, but would have gotten another Canon if the prices had been closer. You can get some models that only take 2 AA batteries if the thought of the weight of 4 is not so appealing.

Well, I had my Easter dinner tonight. We had ham, homemade mashed potatoes, orange jello, and creamed corn. We vacuum sealed four 2-people servings plus have some in the fridge. We also froze the bone and we are going to make pea soup next week-end.

Alright--need some opinions!
i have a nikon coolpix camera--ive had it a few years and now when i take pictures, the camera basically shuts off for some seconds then turns back on for another picture.

Ive been thinking about getting a new camera later this year..but now with this trip in may--im wondering ifI should get one earlier..but i know NOTHING about cameras at all.
I dont want something too complicated--i like having some different settings, but nothing too crazy..
any ideas on where to start? im clueless!!

I wouldn't buy any camera without image stabilization. I would also stay away from those super compact cameras-like credit card size. They are too hard to hold still enough. I would look at the Canon A570 $150 or if you want a longer zoom but still not too big I would look at the Canon SX100 for $240. You often get better deals on line then you can retail so I usually find the best deal I can at Circuit City or Best Buy on line and order for in store pick up.

I want to cry! POTC is closed from June 5 - June 18. I so wanted my niece & nephew to see this. I have to make sure I let them know so that they aren't disappointed when we get there. Why are they closing such an important ride just as school gets out across the country? Normally closures wouldn't bother me but this was one of the main things I wanted to show the kids. I'm hoping I didn't talk it up too much!

How disappointing! I'll wish for a later date too!

You should wash it the same way you want to wash the item you make.

if i was doing one i would chose TL, I think this year we will just do the pool at POP

I hope all of you enjoy WDW on my Birthday. Well at least Vicki and Kristine.

The ceremony went well, but you could not hear it. As there was a noisy fan that we could not shut off. It shut off by itself while we were there after the ceremony part was over. We are guessing it was on a timer. Then they had a spaghetti dinner for everyone afterwards. Plus the girls had made desserts with Girl Scout cookies for dessert.

Tomorrow it is back to the office. Where O, Where did my weekend go??

Bob and I are creating our DJ song list for the wedding. What does everyone think of this for a mother/son dance for Bob and his mom? We are going with a Beatles theme (well, except for our wedding song) and this is one we can't decide on...does it sound too "relationship-e"?

Yes, you should wash the fabric first. It is because of possible shrinkage the first time you wash. At least that is what I remember from my home ec days and my mothers personal sewing lessons.

We would always wash it and dry it on high heat so that any shrinking would happen before it was made.
