So Tyler just got an invitation today to his friend Celes's birthday party this Saturday. I asked him what he think's she'd like for a gift. He told me, "Well, we always play wedding together, so maybe a boy doll in a wedding suit and a girl with a wedding dress and a really big fancy house". I'm guessing he's thinking of a Barbie type bride & groom and a dollhouse. I'll check with her mom, but I'm sure she already has a dollhouse, so maybe the bride & groom dolls would be cute, but does anybody know if Barbie makes a bride & groom? Me having absolutely no experience with girly toys, including Barbies, I'm a bit clueless. But he always does a good job at picking out gifts for others because he's good at knowing what others like, so I'm hoping to find something like this. Think Toys R Us would be my best bet?

OK, to answer my own question, I found something cute. Playmobil brand has a cute bride & groom, also a wedding carriage, and a small house I think might be what Tyler's thinking of for his friend. I'll show him tomorrow and hope I can find it somewhere in town by Saturday. Why on earth would somebody give out party invitations THREE DAYS before the party?!

Ian, I just saw the cougar on our local news. They showed it running, but then they showed it again after the police shot and killed it. I wish they hadn't shown a picture of the body.

I just watched the samantha brown disney favorites...can't wait to ride test track...and she had a grand marnier orange slushy in epcot..has anyone had that before it looks good, is it worth the 8 bucks

Ok, now for some freaky news...for me...

My dd has severe allergies to 2 nuts..needs epi pen just in case. I called the doc last week to get a new presc. as they expire yearly. They escripted it to the pharm. I go to pick it up and they say my health insurance doesn't cover it! Healthnet...what the F***
It's a life threatning allergy and they don't cover anymore....
So I call healthnet, who informs me that they no longer fill at pharm. you have to have the doctor request the prescrip.through the ins. and then they will SEND it to the doc. It could take up to 4 weeks to fill...OMG. I called the doc freaking out and they said they will try to have it for me by next fri. as taylor has an overnight fieldtrip with school. If she doesn't have the epipen they won't let her go!...AND I WORK THERE!...geez
I am going to call the allergist tomorrow and see if they keep samples there? Anyone think I have hope on that?

OK, this is bizarre.

I'm having breakfast, listing to WBEZ National Public Radio on Mrs. Bennett, and there was just a local Chicago news item that a cougar was shot and killed in an alley about a mile away from my house (Roscoe Village neighborhood for those who know Chicago)!

They said that cougar sightings in Illinois are extremely rare let alone in Chicago itself.

They are checking the body for markings are tags to get more information on the cougar.

I was just thinking about how I let the dogs (Truman and Tallulah) out in the front yard. Truman is a whopping 8lbs and Tallulah is 6lbs.)

I can just see Truman trying to take on a cougar!

It made our news here in San Diego last night

Did I miss anything else??? I know we got all our Palo meals, which is great! I'm so excited about not stressing on getting a reservation. Can anyone tell me what the group area is like? Is it in a separate room? Will we all have one waiter? Does anyone else besides my DH not drink on our day (23rd) so I can have their champange?? Afterall, not pregnant!! And I DON'T think I will be checking any more tests until after 5/25!

On that note of the transpacific...I checked my miles today...it's 70k for a RT to tokoyo. I only have enough for one...I should call and see if I can do one way.
Oh and if they go to alaska...do you think they'll leave out of LA or SF or Seattle...anyone willing to take a guess. I hope SF, cause I am lazy and w/o airfare I can afford to upgrade, but who knows...
