so cute, if I wasn't apple impaired I'd steal for my Tyler. I have to keep reading to see if you've also posted a tinkerbell Sydney :upsidedow

You might be a grandma with your oldest one but they don't care about age as long as you can party!

Now wait a minute! Are you making a crack about my age or about the fact I might have daughter that will be pregnant before she reaches her Junior year??? Either don't sound that great!

Even with the heat we had a blast!!

And are hoping to move to FL this summer so the news of an MA at WDW for fall 09 made our day perfect!! (Even if we thought Mickey pretzels came with apple filling...)

Hoping to move? Why leave our sunny state? California ROCKS...aside from the education system, housing market and cost of living:rotfl:

. . . Figure this would also maybe get me closer to the dream of having a Brit for a husband
We should introduce you to some of our Brit friends. We go to London once or twice a year.

Tomorrow, we pick up two British friends who return to the Port of L.A. after a two week cruise to Hawaii. British Airways lost their luggage on their flight from London to L.A.

I'm sure you were...I'm just teasing you!

I was needy as a child but I was a good teenager. I worked from the time I was 15 and was in honors and such. I had my share of fun! I didn't meet cindy until 21!

You've probably got money that doesn't exist now as so many of the European countries have switched to the Euro.

But not us yet, and hopefully never. ;)

I am pretty sure that all of it is extinct now. Which makes it even more fun!

I spoke with the contact at DCL. Appears my email thought her email was spam :lmao: (doesn't it know that nothing from anything Disney is spam :confused3 )

We are confirmed for the 17th of May at 1030am....

I am brunching!!!! I am really happy about this. It has been a long long day and this is great news.

Just a quick update on my brother . . .

He was supposed to have a CT scan today, but they pumped him so full of fluids to keep up his BP, that he is too big for the machine. For now the surgeon has decided that wait and see is the best thing to do. Still in ICU, still on a ventilator, but his vital signs seem to continue to improve.

I spent a couple of hours in his room reading tonight.

As someone said, where there is life, there is hope.

Keep up the faith. And pray for healing. That is all we mere mortals can do!

Good night to all.

You started about the pill at 16 and such!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, that is right! Yes, I was a good teenager too...life didn't get crazy until I left the next for college. I cried so hard when I had to leave college...I loved college...

Nan, that is a crazy jump in speed for just one year in age. And 8 year olds with 12 year olds seems kind of unfair, I guess it would be good exposure for the younger kids. I think the idea of maybe practicing with the older group and not actually racing would be a good year of experience without the pressure.

It is good that he is so willing to understand that this will not necessarily be something he ever has to deal with. And maybe it would be good to borrow equipment from the hockey realm, they have neck guards and such.

Pj

All the kids are in full protection gear, helmet, neck brace, chest protector and race suit with gloves and hightop shoes. We have spent more in protection gear (which we just replaced this year in full, because he grew between 5-8) than we did for his kart. This new series that he races in this year required a better helmet than his local track, so we now have 2 helmets. Better to be safe.

Ok, I had multiple threads up and just posted a very random post meant for our thread on another one!! Luckily there was no mention of Cindy!

Me too. I loved life until 25. Then I had a reality check because I had Ethan. I was sad, it seems, for a while but then I just became exuberant some how. I miss those days as well. Maybe I can't be happy in the now, only in the past :scared1:

So here's something to make all the ladies laugh...

I'm at the doctors today and I have to get a gown on. The nurse says "you can leave your bra and panties on" and I say....

"they haven't been panties in a loooooong time"

Ok, now for some freaky news...for me...

My dd has severe allergies to 2 nuts..needs epi pen just in case. I called the doc last week to get a new presc. as they expire yearly. They escripted it to the pharm. I go to pick it up and they say my health insurance doesn't cover it! Healthnet...what the F***
It's a life threatning allergy and they don't cover anymore....
So I call healthnet, who informs me that they no longer fill at pharm. you have to have the doctor request the prescrip.through the ins. and then they will SEND it to the doc. It could take up to 4 weeks to fill...OMG. I called the doc freaking out and they said they will try to have it for me by next fri. as taylor has an overnight fieldtrip with school. If she doesn't have the epipen they won't let her go!...AND I WORK THERE!...geez
I am going to call the allergist tomorrow and see if they keep samples there? Anyone think I have hope on that?

I think you might have a chance that they will lend you one. You might also call Costco or Sams if you are a member and ask them the cash price for a single. We have had to pay a $50 copay for ours before, if your copay is high, you may not be out that much extra if you get a script and fill it for the cash price.

I have to order more pens this week too. We had a peanut scare two weeks ago with DS and I probably should have given the pen then. We are very lax and I don't carry one all the time, that will change.
