I called everything is ok and she said 14 days prior to sailing docs will come out.....that doesn't seem right.
 
I didn't have a voicemail from DCL waiting for me last night RE: Palo, and no email either....so not sure if the 17th is confirmed for brunch or not???

Monica, I am on your list and the brunch reservation I had for the 15th has disappeared. I figured it was because we got the group one.

I remembered a few more things.....

Kelly, glad you had such a great birthday for Zoe yesterday!

Connie (?) did you order the blinkie braids yet? If not, I would be interested in 1 dozen as well please. I can't remember who to PM about that.

I took out the second list (last night, but it has not synced up yet), somehow a copy got dropped in the main folder, but the one in the 2008 folder is the one I keep updating, check that one.

Well shoot I have been looking at the wrong list as well. I thought we were on the 23rd and now I see we are on the 20th.

Is it to late to drop off the list? We will have to shuffle some spa things.
 
More May 11th folk got their docs today. Ours must be so very special to be needed to be sent later.
 
I spoke with the contact at DCL. Appears my email thought her email was spam :lmao: (doesn't it know that nothing from anything Disney is spam :confused3 )

We are confirmed for the 17th of May at 1030am....

Not good news for UK

My friend got email from dlc

here is the information:

Just to upset all the British cruisers just received this reply concerning handing in of our passports again on cruise:-

We appreciate your patience while we researched your request concerning
handling of Passports on your upcoming cruise.

Please be assured, Disney Cruise Line Vacations follows the U.S.
Government regulations that are required in handling Guest's citizenship
documentation.

It has been determined that Disney Cruise Line will be required to
collect all citizenship documentation for Non-US Citizens for the
15-Night Panama Canal Cruise. Although we can appreciate the frustration
this can cause, unfortunately, we do not have the ability to change
these directives from the U.S. Government and the U.S. Customs & Border
Protection Agency.

We hope the above information proves helpful. If you need further
assistance planning your upcoming cruise, please feel free to contact
us.

Feel this is too bad of them and am still waiting for clarification and advice from our passport office.

I have cruised in 2002 (3 day), 2004 (EC), 2006(CC DD W) and 2007(EC). I had to give my PP is on my first three cruises and also checked in at the Non-US citizen's desk. In 2007 I checked in at the regular desk and did not have to hand over my passport. I still had to do the early morning immigration.

Cork if you want to find someone to switch within the groups go for it and let each of the contacts know, of if you have to drop off the group will still be at 12, so all is good, just let the contact know and they can print out a updated list and hand it in to Pj, Palo Manager, on boarding day.

Would anybody be interested in swapping Palo dinner reservations(for 2)?

Our group brunch is on the same day as our dinner.:scared1:

This is Sunday 18th at 8pm. If anybody would like to change theirs for this one please let me know.
 
One of the things I did not put on my list the other day was to find my Disney tickets for the kids and I. We bought 10 day hoppers with 5 plusses on them in 2005 and used them then - I got them out of the safe for our December cruise in 2007 and lost them before going on the cruise (and I cannot find the copy of the back of them - we have moved since then- and hey I had the tickets in the safe right :) )

So we did not have them for December and just purchased a one day ticket to do Epcot which was ok but we are going to be in Disney longer this time and I have been tearing everything apart looking for them. Well today I was looking for something else and I pulled a drawer ALL THE WAY OUT - and sitting right on top in the back was our tickets!!! And I had been in that drawer 2 other times earlier today and never saw them.

So now the budget goes down again as we do not have to buy new tickets beyond our 1 day to get the dining plan!

just had to share - thanks for listening - no one else is very happy for me - they just don't get it!

Oh I get it! Way to go!:cool1: I don't know how families afford to go to Disneyland with the prices they are. We have never had to buy tickets and we still spend a fortune.:scared1:

I think someone said some time ago that we should be ok till we arrive in LA. Not sure if I will bring a coat, but we can layer a bit and we have packable rain jackets. I hope that will do.

You won't need a rain jacket - we don't get rain in May in LA. A sweatshirt or fleece pullover is plenty.
