What wouldn't you do again?

I wouldn't do Mickey's Backyard BBQ....due to food quality, price and character interaction. And I don't recommend it during really hot weather.

Sorry, I love everything Disney....but this!

We liked (somewhat) Mickey's Backyard BBQ because it was a new experience, but it was SO HOT and after a while, even the kids got tired of just dancing around with the characters. We actually left after while (which we NEVER do b/c we don't want to miss out on anything!), went to the playground and general store with the kids at FW, and then came back b/c we were told that the finale was amazing. It was NOT.
We figure if we ever do it again, it will have to be when we go with a large group since there is plenty of time to hang out with each other in a relaxed setting while the kids (ours are young) are pretty much entertained. MAYBE.

If you get to the MK at opening and you go towards Adventureland, DO NOT climb the Swiss Family Treehouse first. Sure it's cute but while your climbing a tree, the rest of the park is headed towards Splash Mountain:mad:
(This was my mom's idea and to this day I tease her about it;) )

Fantasmic. It just didn't do much for me! (We even did the Fantasmic dinner package, so I felt like we wasted a ton of time that evening.)

I also wasn't wild about Stitch.

The Lua at the Poly.....yawn....boring, food wasn't very good and the kids were actually bored. My son faked a stomach ache so he could leave :confused3

Stay at a Value Resort.

We had to stay one night at the All Star in 1997 becuase POFQ was not available for all 7 of our nights. The room was terribly small, the port-a-crib they gave us was a joke compared to the full size crib we got a PO.

We were miles from the pool, and to top it off, there were drunks yelling and running up and down the walkways all night.

No thanks.

I don't hate Stitch, I'd do it again but we always go for 2 weeks so we have plenty of time to anyway, lol.

You cannot get me to go back on Space Mountain, ever again until after it's refurbed but even then... if people tell me it hasn't changed the quality of the ride itself, NOPE!

Even though it's older, the one at DL is much better.

I would not go at Christmas-New Years again.

I wouldnt make ADRS at 7pm or later. I would make all ADR for late lunch. One per day.

I wouldnt go with people that want a sit down breakfast everyday.
Get up early everyday possible grab something in the room and go!

I would never go to the ABC Commissary at MGM again--the food was bad and there were TV's everywhere advertising ABC soap operas.

I would never go again without a backup plan for all day kind of rain if you're in a tent!

I would/will never...

Base our days in the parks according to which one have EEH (in fact I plan the exact opposite for the most part).

Eat at the Garden Grill again!

We will never do that Drew Carey thing again.....that sounds thing........it was so bad that I can't even remember the official name!

I agree about Drew Carey at MGM, or whatever they are calling it now (Disney Studios). That show was horrible. As well as Stitch, that thing was stupid. I kept thinking something exciting would happen, but nothing ever did. The biggest surprise I got was that stinky smell that came out of his whatever.

Sorry, but I love the tiki room. It may seem lame and it probably is, but it brings back a lot of childhood memories for me, so I always have to go.

I will not try to cram 5 people into one of the trundle rooms at the POR. Don't get me wrong, the resort was beautiful. We loved it, but that room was way, way to small for 2 adults and 3 teens.

I loved A Bug's Life.

I know it is gone now, but Tarzan Rocks was so bad I was laughing! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
When Tarzan swung out over the crowd in his loincloth with his pursed lips and crinkly eyebrows I laughed so hard that folks in front of me turned around to see what had happened! :rotfl2:

I felt so bad for the fellow playing Tarzan and acting so serious when he really looked silly! The rollerbladers where fun, but UG had it right when they said to skip the show. We had time, it was starting soon, DH said, 'why not' and now I know 'why not?!'

I would have to agree with the drew carey and stitch. I thought they were terrible. Our next trip is for 10days, can not wait. We are going to experience more this time. We know what to stay away from for the most part. There was a lot we missed the 1st time we went.

I would never do the Luau at the Poly again, nor will I wait in line for the race car type thingys!

I also vote Stitch as a no!

We booked a Fantasmic package with the Brown Derby and wound up eating dinner at 3:15 in the afternoon. Because of this special deal they put is in a special section all the way on the left side. The seats were bad and it wasn't worth the money or eating dinner at lunch time. I would not do Chef Mickey's for dinner...although the characters were great the food was awful.

Stay offsite again. The benefits of EMH & Disney transportation by staying onsite far outweigh any benefits of staying offsite.

I would also never see Stitch again - a complete waste of time IMHO.

Also I would never forget to take rain ponchos - Florida weather can always surprise you.
