DDA Chapter 9

Speaking of ethics...

OK, not really ethics, but honesty. When I deposited my paycheck today the girl gave me $10 too much back. I was counting my cash and I thought "Oh, how nice, she gave me 2 $10s instead of all $20s." I need to get some smaller bills for the trip. Then I saw the $10 was actually an extra bill. So I sent it back to her. My good deed for the day. ;)

So now if I have to take one of those tests that ask if you give back excess money a cashier gave you I can answer yes!

good girl! :goodvibes I am sure she appreciated it too!

I spent half the day today taking an ethics class...my god, it was by far one of the most tedious classes ever!!
I took an ethics class in college. Between the dry material and the world's most boring professor...........

This is what my page looks like, although further down it has the sites marked that I have chosen to be notified about. Where is your different?

Mine looks like that. How did you change the lower ones so they notify you??

Sounds like tomorrow may be a busy day if the rain holds off. In between me trying to work, Riley has a game at noon. Depending on whether they win or lose they play again at 2pm or 4pm. Then at some point, 6pm or later they will play a 3rd game. Not sure about the games on Sunday, I guess that all depends on how they place tomorrow.

We are also suppose to go over to mil's to meet a friend of her husband's that is here visiting from Sweden. Hopefully we can squeeze a little time in for this.

It is raining now, so who knows how tomorrow will go :rotfl:

I may have been prior to the class...during however, I fantasized about many unethical things

When I lived in FL there was a huge feature article in the paper one day that told how to make $10,000 from ONE rock of crack. (They were talking about drug dealers. Not sure how that was supposed to DETER people!) Later, when I had my short stint as a bank teller, they taught us how to launder money. (Actually, they taught us how NOT to launder money. We learned how money launderers get caught, so if you are SMART about the way you launder money and avoid the pitfalls then you don't get caught!) I could have had a huge drug empire, laundered all of the money, and spent every day for the rest of my life at WDW. But I am too ethical for that. :rolleyes1

My college ethics class was more like a philosophy class. Are they all like that?

Sweden? Really? You can ask him about the sewing machine and the chainsaw! :lmao:

looks good
hopefully enough parents will show up

nope only 31 signed up....we needed full participation (about 100). Oh well at least I'll get my commitment out of the way. Who am I kidding I'll still be helping all of the time. (No selling for me though!!)

That was very honest & nice of you Elizabeth! We had a customer at work come in last week saying that she was given back $15 to much. I checked the paperwork from the shift she was talking about & yep the cashier was sort that amount.

Riley is watching Christmas Vacation, nothing like Christmas in July :rotfl:

You know, the bank is the only place I actually count my money before I drive away. Any other place (Target, Burger King, whatever) I just stuff my change in my purse and that's the end of it. It would probably be a long time before I noticed an error if I noticed at all. Of course it is extremely rare for me to have cash - I usually use my debit card.

I bet the other two museums aren't nearly as crowded, but when we got wind of it, we already had a two-year-old. :teeth:

NEVER!

I wondered about the crowds. I don't think we'd spend too much time in the Children's Museum yet, so maybe we'd be safe? Who knows. We are going to shoot for the September date, we'll see how it goes. Thanks, though!

And way to go, Kevin! (Hey, didn't we used to have a Dad/Husband of the Day or something around here? ;))

Yes, we did. I second your nomination. All in favor....

Aww, I'm sure he'll be honored when I tell him. And, I'm sure he'll do something this weekend to tick me off. :rotfl:

Amy there is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend of 60ish. You might find a sugar daddy. ;)

:rotfl2:

Yeah, but Jen's making a reference to my 25-year-old "boyfriend" from the community center. That's what Kevin calls him, but this guy is really Matty's best friend...I just tag along. :)

All this talk about the photo sessions..........

You all are such a bunch of enablers.
