Question list for the first Kidani guests, now with answers!

If I understand your question correctly:
A 1 bedroom will have a master suite with a king sized bed. In the family room the couch will pull out, sleeps 2. You will have 2 full bathrooms.
In the 2 bedroom, the master and couch are the same, plus a second bedroom that will have will have the 2 queen beds. You will have 3 full bathrooms.

Does anyone know if they are going to be increasing the bus volume since there will now be 2 resorts. I know during peak times if they pick up at Kidani first, all the buses could be full by the time they reach Jambo.

How about a close up pic of the room safe. Based on a photo taken they look larger than usual.

I'm guessing some people are already there on split stays so I want to keep this on page 1.

Hi All

Just moved over from Jambo to Kidani. I'll post some photo's later today as we are about to go on an explore. The place is amazing, the public areas are the same as Jambo, same carpet lights etc.

Self parked under there are plenty of stairs and elevators taking you up it works really well and you can drive to park closer to the pool if need be. We checked in the cast members were really excited and got our room key straight away. We are in a standard 1 bed having had a savanna for 1 week already. Straight away the rooms from Jambo to here are a world apart. This is sooooo much bigger. The 2nd bath is going to be useful. Other quick observations as DW is waiting to go out, the TV has a connection break out box with HDMI, VGA and composite inputs, the bed side alarm clock has an ipod dock and an illuminated light, bigger living area. The safe is huge would easily take my laptop which is quite big.

The bathroom is large, only 1 sink, shower is exactly like the model we visited.

Also we got a model Baobab tree hand made in Africa as a first guest present. I am taking pictures of some things and when the babies are in bed later will see what questions others haven't answered yet.

Thanks for checking in and enjoy your stay in the brand new Kidani. Please, if you have time and remember, check out the menu at Maji for us. Just curious if they offer sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, etc.

Thanks a million.

Wow! Have a great time! I can't wait to hear more after you explore.

If you have a chance, can you check to see if there are any breakfast options at Kidani?

Can't wait to see it next week when we have our meet there!

I have a question about the "one sink" in the bathroom. Is this in a 1 bedroom, or is that the studio? We had two sinks in the main bath at Jambo.

Constant, thank you for taking the time to post! How exciting! :goodvibes Enjoy the rest of your stay and let us know more when you have time.

Just had lunch in Saana! Didn't expect to but were about the third guests through. So caught up forgot to take pictures from the menu but did get some of the views from the Savanna window seat we had and the desert sampler we had. The food was amazing, from the UK we have lots of curries and Indian type food and this is heavily biased that way but not overly so. My 1 and 3 year old had food off both our plates. Most of the dishes are also available from room service which I'll try and get a good photo of later. The bread and 'dip' selection was fantastic and the vibes from the staff was cool the chef and manager came round every table. The animals got really close and the staff know their names.

Anyway my DD has said hurry up we are off for an explore and will check back later to answer the rest of the questions and then I'll upload the photos. There is a Wii mario kart tournament she wants to enter later.
