We did the double stroller (front/back). It was hard folding/ lugging it on the bus, but great with both kids. The back laid down so my younger one could sleep.

Yeah, we ate there and the food was just not very good and the beer was warm. I like beer, but prefer it served cold.
:thumbsup2 i drink soda and what looks like sausage.

Dave at 8 days out I'm glad you didn't wait till the last minute to make your ADR's:lmao::eek:

Teppen Edo & Le Cellier are my personal favs:thumbsup2

I'd love to go to Biergarten to see the show but being a picky eater there's nothing there that I would eat (go figure and I'm 100% German:confused3):lmao:
i only added three the last few days. :lmao: i was suprised how many places had avail. yet.

Like a lot of these. Not a big fan of Biergarten or Nine Dragons. On our last trip we did Rose and Crown for the first time. Food was good, not great but sitting at our table, having desert and watching Illuminations was pretty cool. Let us know how you fared. Would be interested because some of your choices I haven't gone to in a while.

Fed, sorry to hear about your ankle. At least tell us you scored a goal to win the game.
:thumbsup2

We didn't get wet at all from that storm. It missed us by literally 15 miles, tops. I did feel the earthquake though.:confused3

The ADRs look great, BTW.

Have a good Tuesday, Disdads. I'll stop by this evening.

Cheers,
Indy

thats good. we felt the shakin here as well.

Welcome back, Fed! :thumbsup2 Sorry to hear about the ankle. Does that give you time off from work? Or just more pain killers to put up with work BS? :lmao:

CJ - Glad to hear things appear to be non-critical for your DD. I hear those stories about kids who pick up some virus and die a few days later and I get FREAKED out. Still praying for you guys!

In our household we are going through a sinus infection bout. Started off with me... then DW.... then DD. usually it's the other way around, but I'm glad I'm nearly back to 100%. Should buy some shares in Kleenex this week. :rotfl2:

Curse you Captain Oblivious!!!!!

Ummmm, yeah. Let's see, 2-0 and by a grand total of 4.85 + 0.6 = 5.45!!!

Talk about squeaking it out!

Keep this up and I'll fill your facebook page with drivel. :rotfl2:

(checking to see if point differential counts towards championship)

Looks like wins are more important! :woohoo:

Can you let me know when you post the drivel? I don't want it to get lost amidst all of the stupidity there. :rotfl:

Just finished picking hops and had to run in to see if I missed Bacon.

Welcome new guys, congrats Andy, and er...whatever else I missed. Off to the next urgent issue.

well, tomorrows the day. i have to take tammy back to philly for her mri to see what the spot was on her brain. we are hoping, as the doctors are thinking, its just scar tissue from her radiation treatment. not sure if they can tell what it is by an mri but im guessing they want to make sure it hasnt grown. shes not having head aches and or seizures so we are hoping for the best. her mri is at 7:30 and the doctor at 10:30. we are both a bundle of nerves at this point. hopefully we will be able to sleep tonight. she had her stereotactic radiation treatment last september. by december of last year, the tumor shrunk and had little holes in it.(the dr. showed us the before and after mris.) when we went back in may, the tumor had shrunk even more, they didnt think it would shrink that much. but, there is a little spot on her brain now. both doctors she sees said the are pretty sure its from the radiation treatment. she this is were we are at. hopeing for the best tomorrow!!!!

Ah-HA! So I have found the place of respite for DDs who need to Disney-validate themselves somewhere because everyone else is sick of hearing about it! I would be honored if I may be allowed a membership.

Why am I such a Dis-Nut? I watched the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night when I was a kid, and dreamed of the day that I would get to go to such a magical place. I never got to do it until I was an adult. So.... the kid in me is able to find his place every time we go. And if one of the rules (we like to consider them more... "guidelines") is that you're planning your next trip as soon as you return from your current trip, well, I have it beat. I'm planning my next trip before I even go on this one. When is "this one", you ask? THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!! Our 6th annual venture to the Food & Wine Festival. We can't wait.

Having moved from Iowa to Colorado this year, one of our big considerations for the move was the fact that we can fly DIRECTLY from Denver, non-stop, to Orlando. From Iowa, there was always a lay-over. Yes, it's a 2-hour difference, but we're talking about DISNEY! Who cares about that? You can sleep before you go, and sleep when you get back. Other than that, all bets are off! :grouphug:

Tim sounds like you will be there when a few of us Denver folks will be there. We are staying at CBR from 10-13 to 10-18. Shoot me an email at prattpak at disdads.com.

Well I just did....lunch hour turned into a 2 hour lunch hour! Ooops! :lmao:

Thankfully my employer is very understanding!

Thank you sleep apnea for waking me up! :thumbsup2

Hey, welcome....the more Denverites we get the better. I'm just down the road from you in Highlands Ranch. :thumbsup2

On a positive note, Tusker House Blues is a force to be reckoned with in the Goofy Division of the DisDads FFB league. Just sayin'.

I believe we are playing each other this week. Two undefeated teams with a big matchup. Too bad your high scorer this week will not be playing. :rolleyes1

So have you guys seen the latest news?

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/09/avatar-coming-to-disney-parks/

Still processing this one. Adding a new "land" to the Animal Kingdom was part of Disney's plan from the beginning. Originally it was supposed to be the Beastly Kingdom and focus on mythical creatures. So making it like Avatar kinda fits with that.

I was kind of "meh" on the movie, but the visuals and special effects were amazing, and could make for an incredible theme park experience. As long as I don't have to cheer for the extermination of my own species. :rotfl:

So what do you guys think?

I'm pretty pumped about it! I actually really enjoyed the movie (kinda a sci-fi nut).

I think, for me, it will make AK a little more enticing....maybe even a full day park.

I'm curious to know what all they have planned...I'm sure we'll find out in the weeks to come. :thumbsup2

I hated the movie, but am curious as to what Disney can do with it.
