. Maybe we should have stayed down there too with such an early flight 
. But at least we'll be at Disney early!

Last sleep. We're going to try and get to the airport early and get on an earlier flight. Thankfully the storm seems to be weakening and we should be fine for getting out. Fingers and toes crossed!!

Safe travels to everyone, we still have another day. But we got lots accomplished today. Carpets are cleaned, dropped off house keys to mom, last minute toiletry items, 2 loads of laundry done, unmentionables already packed, cleaning of the house has begun.
Tomorrow: more cleaning, actual packing, sneak preview of OZ, and pass out. I don't even have kids and it's a lot of prep just to go on vacation!!

I hear our LTM is Dapper Dans.
I packed long sleeve shirts but meant to take an extra pair of jeans. Oh well, here I am at the hotel next to the airport with 10 minutes until the alarm (which I titled on my phone "get your tuchis to Disney). If seeing that doesn't move me, nothing will.

Just printed off my boarding passes for our flight tomorrow morning. I hope I am napping on the plane at this time tomorrow!
I'm debating cancelling our hotel room by the airport and just leaving the house at 4am to do the 2 hour drive there tomorrow morning. DH is against the idea because in his words: "I don't want you to do the Disney death march through Epcot tomorrow afternoon after getting not enough sleep."
Silly DH, he thinks I'm going to sleep tonight wherever I am.
I'll have to see how my packing progresses before my cancellation deadline.

We leave tomorrow! We won't get to Disney World until Tuesday, but our journey in that direction starts tomorrow afternoon. Our foursome almost became a threesome. One of our travelers had to get to Louisiana from Oklahoma. She originally was going to ride with one of the ladies from our church who was returning from Oklahoma (about an hour away from our traveler); but when the winter storm came through, she wasn't able to get a ride that far. (She doesn't have a car and no one else wanted to drive in that weather.) She booked a flight for early Friday morning. Unfortunately, her ride to the airport did not see the importance of arriving early and she missed her flight. 
(I think next time she'll take a taxi.) She was able to reschedule her flight for today (for some extra $ of course) and has arrived safely in Louisiana. 
This is her first time to go to three of the parks, since the only one she has ever been to is HS. I'm so glad she made it!

For those of you trying to kill the last few days/hours, let me share my magical story with you in condensed form.
We checked into POP for 7 nights. Staying in the same resort were my mother-in-law, sis-in-law, DD and her new DH, his mom, dad and grandma, my DH, DD and myself. 5 rooms in all. Horrible thing happened to HIS parents
and to resolve the issue, the night manager had ALL of us 
get up and move in the middle of the night to a 3 bedroom villa in Saratoga Springs. The honeymooners were upgraded the next day to the Contemporary with a view of the castle! Sweet! 
However, the situation was less than desirable for the rest of us. I explained to the property manager that while he has lovely facilities, it doesn't feel like Disney to me (I like the character themed resorts) and sharing a bedroom with my in-laws was weird. He proceeded to work his magic
. Our rooms at POP were gone and they were booked solid. By mid-day he got our side of the family two adjoining rooms at AoA for the remainer of our stay!!!! Woo Hoo. (transferring all our dining credits of course) I was one happy camper. Lakeside Ursula building - my personal fave. We also got dusted with several group FP's to make up for lost time transferring resort to resort. Was a great trip and the weather amazing! Planning our Sept. return when crowds are thinner.

Here today and loving it! I got my couture ears- limited February? Maybe? I live them! Bright pink on pink metallic cheetah print (because we're staying at AKL) with black and white feathers and a patch of sequins. It's like Minnie meets Vegas showgirl... fun. I thought I wanted the lavender with the little crown but didnt love it in person. DD might. She's coveting mine but I think they're too "grown up" for a 6 yo. She needs to choose at a big store with lots of choices. I stopped at the first place where I saw what I already knew I wanted.
Besides... I just might get more! And we leave Mar 2, maybe something new will be out then and catch my eye, too?!

Flight leaves tomorrow at 620 am. We are SOOOO behind. I'm not sure we will get much sleep tonight. DBF was hiding some of his laundry that needed to be done. *sigh* and we've done very little of the cleaning. My stomach is in knots. I'm so afraid I'm going to forget something now since I feel Ike I don't have very much time. My OCD brain is hurting. I'm also afraid I'm not gonna bring enough warm stuff? Or too much warm stuff? EEK. I know tat is just the panic setting in.....
