***Official November 2013***

Awesome! Was it easy to set up? Our trip is Nov 11-17. I can't see anything still. Guess it's our resort, CBR. Ugh, so ready to get BOG lunch since I've been trying for dinner for 180 days +. I hope they don't sell out before I can book :(

The menu doesn't look very Impressive for lunch at bog to be honest

The BOG FP+ gives you two choices...go at your time slot and walk past the usually long line outside. Or two you can pre order your food and choose to go right to table, bypassing the ordering process altogether and they bring your food to you Ina. Timely manner. I chose the first because I want to experience the atmosphere completely....but if you have a time crunch I imagine the pre order is really useful! Not sure HOW necessary this is in November but I was panning to get there by 10:45 or so to get in line, now I can do more rides until 11:50. Assuming we are able to get in with this "back door" way...still a bit nervous we won't be able to

I go the BOG FP for Nov 18th lunch, it was the latest day it let me pick which is 7 days after arrival, but I planned MK for that day anyway. Super excited to try lunch there!

We have BOG for Nov 18th as well. DH wanted 11-11:15 timeframe as we have ADR for 'O'Hanas at 5 pm. We also pre-ordered our lunch. Maybe we will bump into each other. :)

48 days until my next trip!

And 32 days until I close on my house!

This trip is going to be VERY different this time. A college friend (who is now a cast member) helped me with resort reservations and with park tickets, so I don't have the opportunity to make fast pass plus reservations, and because my GF and I will base our plans around my college friend and his wife, we're not making advance dining reservations. This is SOOOO weird!! We'll totally be winging it!!

Because I'm buying a house at the end of October my cash flow will be limited, so maybe it's good that we'll be having counter service meals for the most part. But I like to schedule a nice dinner during the trip... so this is very weird. I almost feel like all those newbies who just show up to WDW and ask each other "what do you want to do?" and "where do you want to eat?" LOL.

Hopefully I can find out when my friend and his wife are available for a meal and we can schedule something nice.

I just keep telling myself that the substantial savings is much better than having a few fast pass plus rides in advance and the thrill of hunting down a restaurant with an available table will be fun.

Overall, I just remind myself that no matter what, a trip to Walt Disney World is great and it's all good!!!

Oh I would trade the three FP+ a day for the savings you are getting for sure ::yes::

It will be fun to vacation a different way, who knows you might prefer the more relaxed vacation.

Congrats on the house!!

Thanks MamaJessie!!

Since our first night is the only evening that I'm sure we have to ourselves, I just made reservations at Teppan Edo! We both love it there! (Now I can relax a little bit - I feel like a real DIS'er again!!)

What a crazy time at my house!! I'm packing to MOVE and packing for DISNEY!

I have two friends who went to BOG this year, and both didn't understand what the hype was all about. They both agreed it was a beautiful restaurant, but probably wouldn't go back to eat. I'm sure everyone has their own opinion, but I agree with you.

Yeah, it really does, doesn't it? It sounds like no one else is still having problems getting around the all number reservation numbers. I guess I'll just have to keep trying and hope my TA forwards me my ME stuff quickly so I can grab those numbers.
I feel like I'm the only one not able to get a reservation.:sad::sad:

I sent you a pm if you want to try and work on this together, just let me know.

No it doesn't, but I really want to see the restaurant. I figured we could always have the soup. I've never gotten to see Cinderella's castle, I'm not going to miss the Beast's too.

Ok I'm trying not to complain cause I love cooler weather but right now I've had a fleece on all afternoon. It's just a glimpse of cooler weather to come.
So hoping that November is the perfect weather (down at Disney) I saw just a week or so ago. Not the humid sticky stuff but the warm enough to be without a jacket during the day and at night just a light jacket.
I'm guessing they still have the warmer weather down there now. I remember an October trip a few years ago was 90 during the day. ick.

Am I asking for too much? Comfortable mid 70s???

It's 54 days to go. Well 53 1/2 at this point since it's late afternoon. :)

I really should start packing. :) Oh ya I did already. :rotfl:

Ok thanks for the touch base. I needed to bring myself back to Disney thoughts

Our lunch is 12:45-1, my lunch time at work is 1 so I figure I will be hungry then...lol

Yep, same here in CT. I'm hoping for the same as you for November. We were there the week of Thanksgiving, 2010 and it was between 86-92 the entire time. Much hotter than I expected but I wasn't complaining ;) If it's mid to upper 70's this time, that would be perfect.

53 days to go....

Sounds good, I won't be home most of tomorrow though, Tuesdays are my crazy days. Wednesday should work though if you don't want to do it today.

We have been to WDW several times in November- have had darn near perfect weather each time. Highs in the upper 70's/lower 80's, gorgeous nights cool enough for a long sleeve T. Hardly any rain, low (for FL) humidity. Was a smidge cool for me to swim, but many, many were in the pools.

Of course, there could be a cold snap or heat wave- but the average temps for November are 78H/59L with the lowest avg precipitation of the whole year at just over 2 inches for the month.
