4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

I can't remember if I mentioned that when Derek got back from getting us Splash Mtn FP's that he told us Splash was down so he picked up BTMRR one's instead. We decided to head up in that direction to see if Splash was up & running and then we could use our FP for BTMRR in the next half hour. So these were taken as we left Liberty Square and traveled thru Frontierland.

Another one of those birds that seem to be all over MK.

The castle behind us.

More of our trip thru Frontierland.

We got up to the Splash area and saw these poor Cast Members dealing with telling everyone that Splash was closed and they didn't know for how long. Love they had a "SMILE" sign......lol

So we waited & people watched, took some pictures and waited for our FP return time for BTMRR.

Love seeing all your pics

You capture so many details that I never notice

That is cool about all the hidden Pasquales :goodvibes

People watching at DW is so much fun and great way to pass time :thumbsup2

Mike spotted Jessie & Woody.

Who knew.....there's a little play area for little ones at BTMRR!!

Big Thunder Mt Railroad is my all time favorite ride at Disneyland.....so I was excited to ride the one at MK. It just runs in the opposite direction of the one at DL (so instead of a ton of right turns, the MK version turns mostly to the left).

When our FP return time came, we got in the very long FP line. These are a few pics from the inside queing line.

As we were in the train!

Thanks Kelly!!

Mike got these pics as we exited the ride.

I found GOLD!!!

Splash was still closed.....booooooo!

We stopped into Peco's Bills to get glasses of FREE ice water. We ordered it pretty quickly, but the line for waiting for their orders was a bit of a wait. The guy that took our order, actually worked his way up to the counter and got them to do our waters and he brought them back to us. SO NICE!!

Let me say.....It may be worth buying water while you're here. That was the nastiest tasting water.....gross!!!

We found some shade and Mike grabbed a couple more pics.

Time for the Country Bear Jamboree!

Just a little trivia for you......when the Country Bear Jamboree was taken out at Disneyland and the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride went in it's place....the Imagineers left a nod to the theater by leaving Melvin, Buff & Max's heads in the attraction. If I recall correctly, when you leave the Heffalumps & Woozles section, turn around & look up and you'll see the famous trio hanging above the doorway behind you!

I love the photos of the Country Bears!!

Thanks Michele!! It was one of the things I was looking forward to seeing again! First time I took Mike to Disneyland (after we were married in 84)......we went and watched the show. I also remember seeing it as a kid. I love the bears!!

Last year's family trip to DL, we saw a couple of the bears at the Billy Hill & the Hillbillies show........ I was thrilled!!!

that was one of my fav. shows at DL, I'm so happy they still have it at WDW, and I hope they keep it!! One of those timeless shows that you can't find that much anymore in the race to do everything futuristic and technology saavy!

Thanks for the memories!! :thumbsup2 ;) :yay:

It's a classic & hopefully a "keeper" in Disney's eyes!

Oh I hope we see some next trip!

They came out at the end of the holiday Billy's show......not sure they stick around after the holidays......

Loved seeing all the pics of Country bear Jamboree. I have not seen this since 90s and plan on taking Trent to see it in Feb:thumbsup2

Have had a really busy last few days, but caught up now :wizard:

Love the Bear pictures, of my early memories of DL, the bears are there for sure!

Unfortunately with the space available at DL......we'll see all sorts of things we love go away to make room for something new. I wonder how long before they close ToonTown and put something totally different in there. That's the one area WDW has a leg up on DL......they have space to add on. Of course I say that......the new Fantasyland was where their ToonTown used to be. Not sure why they couldn't keep it & just add this one??

I found myself drawn more to the "shows" vs rides on this trip.

We left the Country Bear Jamboree and ran into these birds.

So MK has the Diamond Horseshoe, kinda like DL's Golden Horseshoe.....but one BIG difference~~The Diamond Horseshoe is empty!! I have no idea if there's been things in there in the past but the Golden Horseshoe is a favorite place for me. It's brings back lots of memories and reminds me of my dad who used to perform in a vaudeville style show when I was growing up. Seems a shame they don't have some sort of show going on in the WDW version.

We decided to head into Fantasyland, so these were taken as we wandered from Frontierland and into Fantasyland.

Mickey's PhilharMagic was next.

Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 3D concert featuring your favorite characters using scents, sounds & water. Lots of familiar music and fun!

The wall of musical notes.

These posters are in the lobby before entering the theater.

Inside the theater.

We didn't take any pictures during the show but these are at the exit and the gift shop.

The new Seven Dwarf's Mine Train is coming along.

This is from the peek hole.

Beast's Castle in the distance (I believe that's right)

More pics as we wandered thru Fantasyland towards Tomorrowland.

We saw the White Rabbit as we passed by the Tea Cups.

I think in diamond horse show area they do have few shows a day , woody and friends

What u think of Mickey philharmagic? Such a cute show

Hmmmm, Derek was thinking the place was totally closed up. I know nothing was going on when we went by it. The one at DL used to hold the Billy Hill & the Hillbillies show. It still does off & on, but there is also a quick service restaurant inside. So it's always open.

I liked Mickey's PhilharMagic. Those shows are always a lot of fun!!
