4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

Our adventure took us into Tomorrowland.

Our goal here was to ride the People Mover!! This was a total blast from the past. I remember riding this at Disneyland. It's a ride that people are missing on the west coast. I won't guarantee these photos are in the right order......I'm meshing 2 camera's pics together.

More pics on the People Mover in the next post!!

Our ride on the People Mover continues.

Now I need to sort more pics before I can post updates.

When we got off the People Mover, we headed to Monster's Inc Laugh Floor.

Inside the theater.

The show mixes animation with shots of live people that they incorporate into their jokes. The goal is to fill the laugh canister!

Loved this show.....lots of corny jokes and the people that were used played into their parts very well!

As we were leaving Tomorrowland.

Derek was keeping updated on the Splash Mtn closure and found out it had re-opened, so he took off to pick up FP's for it while Mike & I got pictures of the castle and surrounding area.

We even did a photopass stop.....these are from Mike's camera.

Loved the Mickey & Minnie topiaries!!

Last one for now.....photobucket is being extremely slow this morning! (took almost 15 minutes for these 19 pics to upload)

Peoplemover is one of our favorite rides. Such a nice ride to kick back and relax and take it all in :thumbsup2

We love Monsters Laugh Factory. Steve got his face up there last trip. I think he was Randall :rotfl2:

The Laugh Floor in now on my must do list for future trips.
Enjoying the report!

It's fun to cruise around above it all & people watch and seeing some of the sights & locating things!

I just love the people mover...great shots!

Thank You!!

It was a lot of fun! It wasn't on my list in the beginning, but then Derek said we should go and I'm glad we did!!

Thank You & Welcome!!

Mike & I headed up towards the New Fantasyland and the Be Our Guest Restaurant to wait for Derek. (who was on a FP run at Splash Mtn). Derek wasn't long & so I went & checked us in for our dinner. Once checked in, we were given a pager and asked to wait on the bridge area. (only guests with pagers are allowed in this area)

Our pager!

More, more, more BOG area pics.

We had the first dinner seating time at 4pm. Our pager went off & we waited for the waiter/waitress to come out the doors & call our name. We were taken inside & seated in the Ballroom by the windows!

The snow falling.

The menu.

More pics of the Ballroom.

The table & chair.

Our waitress came & took our order. We got our drinks and a basket of warm rolls with salted butter.

The food came out without much of a wait. Derek had the Grilled Strip Steak with Garlic Herb Butter and Pommes Frites.

Mike had the Herb Crusted Lamb Rack with Mustard Demi-Glace. It also came with Buttered Celery Root & Seasonal Vegetables.

I had the Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops with Seasonal Vegetables & Mushrooms served in a Puff Pastry with Creamy Lobster Sauce.

As we were enjoying our dinner, Beast walked thru the Ballroom to the West Wing and back.

After we finished our entrees, our waitress brought over the dessert cart!

We had mentioned we were celebrating (early) our 30th anniversary and she brought us a small dish of the grey stuff. (I had mentioned that so we could taste the grey stuff.....lol)

Derek actually had the Grey Stuff for his dessert, this was a bigger serving and also served in a chocolate cookie crust/base.

Mike had the Chocolate Cream Puff.

I had the Lemon Meringue Cupcake.

This was one of my favorite meals. I really enjoyed my entree and my dessert was decadent! I've always been a fan of lemon meringue, but to have it in a cupcake.......YAY!!! Mike really enjoyed his lamb dinner and Derek always loves the grey stuff!!

Mike's Meal~ Lamb Rack, Ice Tea, Chocolate Cream Puff $35.67
My Meal~ Shrimp & Scallops, Soda, Lemon Meringue Cupcake $33.17
Derek's Meal~ Steak, Soda, Grey Stuff $40.17

$109.91 + 7.63 tax = $116.64 on the Disney Dining Plan Tip was paid OOP

One last picture from the Ballroom.

We headed to the West Wing to get a few pictures. I'm really glad we weren't seated in there. It's really dark.....I enjoyed the Ballroom much more, especially getting to sit next to the windows and watching the snow fall.

As you exit the dining areas, you get to meet the Beast & have pictures done with him.

These are from the lobby of BOG.

I included this blurry one, so I could show you the Mickey head in the sword!

More from the lobby.

Enjoyed your pictures & report as usual! So looking forward to the people mover, Philharmagic, and BOG! :cool1:

Great pics inside of BOG and around it

I really enjoyed seeing how it looked outside. I liked the snow falling outside the window.

The desserts looked so good :goodvibes

The ballroom was beautiful and the snow fall just doesn't photograph but it was really fun to watch. Sometimes it fell softly and other times it looked all blustery.

The desserts were hard to choose because they all looked so good!!! (and they were) Actually all the food was very good! :goodvibes

After our delicious dinner at Be Our Guest, we headed towards Splash Mtn to use our Fastpasses. These pictures are from our walk.

We got into the FP line at Splash & Mike took these pics in the queing line.

I have only rode this ride once at Disneyland. I didn't like that there wasn't a place I could plant my feet and the railing was wet & couldn't get a grip on it. It's also single file unlike the side by side seats on the WDW's version. So I was excited to try it here. These are pics Mike took on the ride.

More on-ride photos in the next post (that is, if I can get photobucket to upload.......it has been so ssssssllllllllllllllooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww lately)

Let's finish up the Splash Mtn pics.

PEEK!!

I really enjoyed the WDW version better than the DL one......mostly because of the ride vehicle. I felt more secure in the double seaters, which allowed me to relax and actually look at all the different things. I will say, the one & only other time I had rode this at DL.....I got soaked on the first corner, which made for a miserably cold ride.....which did not help my opinion of the ride.

We decided it was time to find one of the party stations and pick up our Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party wrist bands. Derek said there was one in the Adventureland area, so we left Splash and headed that direction. These will be Mike's pics as we headed to & thru Adventureland.

Tiki misters!

We got in a very short line & showed our party tickets and received our wrist bands and trick or treat bags.

Glad you had a better experience on our Splash Mountain. Such a fun ride.

I didn't realize you could get your party bracelets back there. Good to know for future :)
