Hi. I'm Jen. I'm a Disney addict. I have been stalking this board, well actually part 1, since page 50. But I must ask for help. We are checking into CBR on 11/26 and already have reservations but want to get the fd. I have tried 3 different browsers several times over the last couple of days and just don't get a change/modify button. So, we are left with the options of making a new ressie or calling at 7 and hoping to add it to our preexisting one. My hubby's question is do we loose our $200 deposit if we make a new one? How certain are you of this? Thank you all for your help and your entertainment! Good luck! PS today is my birthday so free dining would be a great way to end a great weekend!

If you have a TA they will be able to modify it for you. If not you can call and modify it.

Thanks!! I'll keep this handy as a screenshot on my phone. For most of the rides they offer it for, I think at least one of my girls won't want to ride. 5 years ago when we went they were babies and my husband and I hardly did any of the more fun rides just cause we didn't want to mess with waiting in line with 2 toddlers even with a rider swap option, but this time we said we WILL ride some of the good rides!

Don't worry, I am sure Disney will allow you the option to pay for that "special feature" on MDE soon.

Do u remember what time? About 4 because that's when matnience takes over here right?

I think between 5:00-6:00. Maintenance is about an hour. The website crashed during the end of maintenance, or soon after.
I posted this in reply to someone else also, but forgot to note....remember the release may not be at the same time this year.

Last year I went on at 7 and called and kept going on site finally at almost 3pm I was able to make the reservations on the computer. It kept crashing all day and phone lines were busy then I had to do it all over again for my parents lol, don't think I got theirs done til 5!

Can you book two rooms online? The family that is going with our family have separate reservations from us, I'm going to *try* to modify both of our reservations if FD comes available but i am willing to make new reservations if needed.

I can't figure this out, either. I need two rooms for our family but the CM I talked to said I needed to make two completely separate reservations if I want to do it online and then link them later. Is that right???

I gave DH the option of having our room or our son's who is away at college so that he can sleep. He thinks it's crazy to stay up, but he wants to go so he's willing to make the "sacrifice", lol.

yes they did and My magic band is set to be purple

Oh there will be plenty when it comes to Room Discounts. Different discounts for different room types and resorts, and all sorts of nice things that make no sense at all. Remember the key is when it says "Up to 30%", means it can be anything less that that as well, and always is. Room Discounts are the things I hate trying to blog about because of so many different levels and restrictions, it takes forever to get it all straight.

We're hoping to go 10/1 - 10/7. Does anyone know what I'm looking at for crowds and weather? I have Touring Plans but they've been off quite a bit pretty much every day so I don't know if I can trust their numbers right now.

Hot. Don't let the crowds scare you. Make a list of where you want to eat, rides, and anything else you want to do (parades, shows, etc.). There is a website that has a great crowd calendar and cheat sheets for planning your day (he also has a book too). Last year we walked on EE at AK 4 times and rode RNR 3 times with only 20 min or less wait. People told me they thought it seemed more crowded during that time than in previous years but I believe it's still manageable.
