Worst ride to get stuck on?

Figment!

Four years ago, we were stuck on the Figment ride for about 20 minutes, right outside of the "lab doors" for snoring and laughing. All we heard for 20 minutes were interchangable laughing and then snoring. But at least we weren't by the skunk!

Ride operators came and got us, and we had to walk through the rest of the ride. We just "used our imagination" as to what the rest of the attraction would have looked like.

My first trip to a Disney park (Disneyland) was when I was 7. I got poison oak right before the trip - my mom wanted to cancel but I insisted I was fine. Day 1 and I was itching SO badly, and on IASW it spread into my eyes, and they closed shut. I started crying, my mom yelled for help and they stopped the ride. We were evacuated from the ride and I was treated by EMTs. But the wait was horrible - listening to that music while my eyes were sealed shut and terrified I'd never see again. It took me many, many years to ride it again - thankfully now the joy on my girl's faces when they ride it has finally taken over that memory!

As far as other rides, HM and Ariel's ride were pretty bad to get stuck on - Ariel's ride we've been stuck staring right at Ursula, which terrified my then-3-year old.

I think the only time I've been evacuated was from Pooh, and that was pretty neat walking through a lit up ride!

Probably can't think of a worse place to get stuck than this:

No, it wasn't me but that's got to be as bad as it gets.

Personally, I've never been stuck or evacuated from a ride. Have had the pause happen - usually just chalked it up to loading or unloading folks with mobility issues. Of course now that I've said it, I'll get stuck on every single ride I go on in January.

I didn't get stuck on it, but it was right after The Little Mermaid ride had opened so the lines for it were super long and we waited an hour and 15 minutes to get on the ride and then we were stopped in one spot in the line for about 45 minutes and we started going crazy! Turns out the ride had gotten stuck and they had to turn off all of the ride operations, so basically we all had to leave, without us ever reaching the ride but we got a fastpass for any ride in the park.

I've never had a terrible ride stoppage in WDW other than being on IASW for 30 minutes, but I have been stuck upside down on forbidden journey at Universal in the middle of the tree scene for a chunk of time. I was terrified that the tree would start back up before our vehicle and we would get destroyed by a giagantic robot tree while being like 20 feet (idk the exact height) up in the air. My brother once got stuck on the same ride ride right when the dementors pop out at you, so he had to sit on the ride with a dementor in his face just waiting for the ride to start back up.

Last trip stuck in small world (YIKES!) and spaceship earth on the incline next to the newspaper press exhibit. That story line loop was in my head for the entire day!

Splash mountain after you go down the big drop and make the curve, water comes down the mountain and gets you wet... Well if you get stuck they don't turn off the water so you literally just get soaked while waiting.

Worst so far was actually in the Carousel of Progress. There was another room that I guess had people that kept standing up. And when they are standing when the carousel is supposed to rotate it, they don't allow it to rotate and you have to watch the entire segment you just watched over again. Once ok, no big deal. Twice, ok, this is getting annoying. But then when it happened a third time and we had to watch the same segment for the 4th time in a row, I was ready to go find the troublemakers and kick them out myself. I enjoy the CoP for nostalgic value and for it's direct ties to Walt Disney, but after that experience, needed a good long break from it. Adding to that, we were in the second segment when this happened, so we still had half of the ride to go once we were finally able to move on. That's a long attraction to get stuck in.
Second worst was getting stuck on Splash, just after you come around the corner after the drop, in just the right place to have water splashing on you the entire time you are sitting stuck in your log. Got to be escorted out of that ride and taken out a back way. Also got an extra FP for the trouble (back in the paper FP days).

At least you weren't stuck in the smell room...? :P

I was stuck in Sum of All Thrills once (the roller coaster simulation arm that was in Innoventions) right before it was closed down. I'm not usually claustrophobic, but trapped for 10 minutes in a box no more than 4 square feet wide while voices outside keep talking about how maintenance is on the way because they can't get the cover lifted? Yeah, that had me pretty freaked out.

Another uncomfortable one was when I got stuck on the People Mover while we were in the pitch black hallway on the way out of the Space Mountain building. Complete darkness. Someone in the other segment of the vehicle eventually pulled out their phone so we could at least see the blank walls, but I'm always eager to get through that part as quickly as possible.

I've also been stuck in Haunted Mansion a couple times, but that wasn't too bad - once was right after we turned around and tipped backwards going down towards the cemetery, and it was actually a very comfortable position given the padded seating, and I joked about taking a nap. :) The other time was in the ballroom scene, which is my favorite - I could sit and watch the dancers for ages, so I really didn't mind that one, either.

Splash Mountain in a big line of boats, we were right under the possums hanging from the tree... music played constantly with "sounds like there's a commotion downstream..." audio clip every couple minutes. Same music playing repeatedly got pretty old, they stopped it after about 20 minutes and then it was silent for about 10 minutes more (except for the "commotion downstream" audio clip still every couple minutes), then the lights came on and CM escorted us out of the boats and out the emergency exits to the rear of the park. Another CM gave each one of us a paper slip to go front of line on any ride (this was back in 2000) and brought us back through the gate into the normal part of the park.

Too bad we didn't have fancy cell phones back in 2000, I could have gotten a memorable pic like the one from a few posts above, oh well.

I've been evacuated from Winnie the Pooh and Rock 'n Rollercoaster. We took fun pictures walking out of Pooh in front of the scenes. We came to a stop right after the takeoff on R'nR. So the first car was at a slight incline before the first loop. We were stuck for at least 30 minutes. They eventually turned off the music and the lights on. Workers would come stand on a platform and talk to us. They asked us not to take pictures, but it had been sometime with the lights on before someone came to talk to us. So people had already done it. It was cool to see with all the lights on. There was a platform right next to us, so once they were ready to let us off the evacuation was easy. We got several FP's and a bottle of water for our trouble.

Going to go with one no one has mentioned - Dumbo. We were strapped into the ride, getting ready to start when a thunderstorm rolled in. Torrential rain and they would not let us off the ride right away. Of course the ponchos were with the stroller in stroller parking. The rain soaked completely to the point my wife's cell phone died and had to be replaced from the water damage.

My nightmare would be RnR, upside down. Although I thought I read somewhere that this can't happen on coasters.

We got stuck on EE toward the end. Well, we assumed it was toward the end as we seemed to have come all the way down, but they brought us down about 10 flights of stairs.

I was evacuated off Journey into Imagination when I was 10 or so. I thought it was the best day of my life.

A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away I got stuck on It's A Small World for over 50 minutes before they got us moving again. Grand total time on the ride was well over an hour. It took me years to be able and willing to get back on the ride again after that.

Test Track going from 60 to 0 in about 3 feet. We were up on our side. My daughter and I were up on the top as we were single riders. Some whiny lady in the car was crying whiplash trying to get something for free.

We got evacuated from the ride. Walked through the crew backstage area and right back on the ride. We were also given 3 anytime fast passes each.

Hubby was in a car behind us and had no idea where we were when he got off the ride.

I have the same exact issue only mine has to do with my chest/upper body. Like the over-the-shoulder harness on most inverted roller coasters - pre-ride is fine and I don't mind it during the ride, but after, if there's a delay in off-boarding and I'm pressed in the seat against that thing, I have to work really hard to keep myself from getting frantic. I even pull the harness down in such a manner so as to give myself some wiggle room, meaning, I don't pull it down full-tight but with a couple notches to spare - then I try to maintain it when they come around to check, and then really work hard to retain it against the G forces during the ride.

I always give myself some wiggle room with any of the restraints. I try to puff myself up when the CMs come by so they don't tighten anything. Just reading these posts is giving me some anxiety! We have been briefly stuck on HM and Figment. I'm not a big fan of Journey Into Imagination to begin with but at least it wasn't too claustrophobic.
