My kids are disney adults now so for the four of us it would be worth our while to get a moderate if we could get standard.
I'm going with two guy friends, both adults, one in his 30's and the other in his 40's. I'm going to request a redone room so at least there will be a queen bed for them to share.

Guys, I feel like I'm the only one who's not getting this. What are you all watching, what page is everyone refreshing? I've read that people set their clocks every hour of the night to watch when this offer releases. What are they watching and how do they know what night to start watching?

Feeling left out.
There are so many rumor dates that people will start staying up on these dates to grab the bounce back online.

we were there over Labor Day last year, Disney Springs at night was a NIGHTMARE, LOL...unbelievable crowds, crowds at the parks (morning people) were good....we are going September 6-20 this year on FD bounce back... We will hit the F&W this year and we will have 140 snack credits with DxDP with a free upgrade from CBR to SSR 2 bedroom Villa!!!..................whoo hooo
I've been over Labour Day weekend a few times. Parks were thick but not crazy. I have never been to Disney Springs that weekend though. I wonder what made it so bad? Possibly that there was so many new restaurants and shops to see? We're planning on being there this year and I'm wondering if we should just avoid Disney Springs on the weekend.
We will be able to do food and wine for the first time, but unfortunately the first weekend it's open. I imagine it will be a crush of people as well. Our plan is to go right at opening on two separate days and get the heck out of there before the late afternoon/evening crowds show up.

isn't here someone on here that "knows someone who knows someone"? I know I have stalked this page too and thought there is a guy on here who is usually right about when free dining will hit...

It's like the local people can take their families to the park without actually going to the park.

They've peeked their heads in, but no news from them yet.

This would be nice, but honestly nobody really knows until its really close to being released. You can call and speak to a cast member and talk to ten different cast members and get ten different answers. I work customer service and its not something you would generally tell, but you can sell as much BS as you want, as long as you sound like you know for sure. I say it's about 30 percent knowledge and 70 percent BS.

Between waiting and wondering about FD and being stuck in the house for 2 days with 5 kids and one husband due to snow, I'm going crazy! I need to know something about FD soon...

Sorry if this has been asked already. Last year did you have to have park hopper and water parks added to your tickets in order to get the free dining?

They have been cryptically silent.

I'm still here. If someone has a question or tags me in a post, I will respond as soon as I have a chance.

Speculation is just that. Once there's something of note to share, you'll hear it from me. There's just no need to increase the anxiety unless something solid is heard from the underground.

Last year you had to have at least one of them. Since they've done away with the water park add-on, some are wondering if this year, you will have to have them both, but there's really no way to tell until they announce. Tickets with at least park hopper are probably around 90% certain since that has been the norm for two years in a row.

That's why we trust our experts so much. They don't give us info until they have something more reliable to share.:)

I"m super excited you guys! We had planned on a trip for May of 2018. I called today asking about the gift card deal for CBR and if they thought it would be offered then. She said while there's a chance she really didn't think it would be offered for May, that more than likely it wouldn't be extended past fall. DH was wanting to try our a moderate after our last trip and after talking to him about it he's willing to miss a couple of classes for us to go in October while DS is on break from school if they offer FD for it! Here's to hoping they include Oct 12-21st!

I think when I did my bounce back Park Hopper was a requirement. I would consider rebooking if we could drop that, that would allow me to upgrade my dining package at a cheaper rate.

Last year it was 4/25 (only remember because it's ds birthday) maybe this year it will be 3/27? I've seen the 27th written before in blogs. Wonder if they'll release FD twice? I feel like they've done that before. Maybe release August/September this month and wait on later dates?!?!
Please, not again! 2013 was hard for so many waiting to book. At least we can all take comfort in knowing that there will be a support group here if we have to wait. :grouphug:

I know I don't think I could take it again, LOL! We really wanted FD at POR last year but when it wasn't included for November we decided to wait for the RO discount. They only released the RO discount up until Nov. 05 and since we were going in the middle of November it felt like I had to wait forever for the RO discount for the rest of November! You are right, this is a great support group to wait with!:)
