Sorry to see this. Did you get the email with the 250pt BLT listing today from Fidelity? June UY I think. Good luck. I've been there, twice with ROFR exercised on me and once with a contract that fell apart. Hang in there!

Too many points for us we have decided since we just added on at VGF. We would like to stick closer to the 200pt mark for BLT if and when we ever get one through there.

It definitely looks like they're buying June back like crazy and August to a lesser extent. However, my September was bought back a week ago as well. Also, I've been seeing a lot of December ones bought back as well. I think they want us to know that June is extremely susceptible to buybacks, and everything else is fair game as well! Haha.

Maybe these summer UY buybacks will slow down considerably in the fall once those months have passed.

Wish we had more insight into why they buy some back and not others. Totally get why they buy back in general but it's not a great way to please their customers.

This looks like a perfect contract! I have October and June AKV. I think you're going to love October. It's great for early December and January low point season stays. Good luck with rofr. Btw when I just added on direct last week my guide told me they had plenty of AKV October available. I needed June and had to wait a few days for them to come in. Hope this means you will pass quickly.

I'm afraid too that any Aug from BWV, BCV or BLT will be taken. I don't want to pay a lot more just because of our use year. There are a lot of Boulder Ridge August. Maybe that one would be safe to buy and I could still afford it. Also very tempted by VGF which also seems to have a lot of Aug. We love the restaurants there and have stayed on cash in the hotel and love it. The cost per point and the number of points to stay are pretty high so I keep hesitating on buying it. I think to buy it I would just have to ignore how much it costs and just do it.

I would think that as soon as May is over that June uy rofr will slow down. I wanted to add on direct to my June uy this month to get the free mf's on 2016 points and prorated 2017 points.

Did you see the VGF I got that passed ROFR? $115/pt. It is almost equal to what people are paying for BLT.

Is that the April one? That was an awesome deal! I haven't seen great deals for Aug yet. If it's good it seems to be taken. We mostly travel in Dec, Oct and March and every once in a while in May. Aug works really well for everything, but May so it's really hard to change.

My suggestion to you is to keep trying to get one through if you have the patience. They will eventually turn their attention away from June UY, I think. Like I said before, I think the June UY buybacks will slow down in maybe July or August. If you aren't set on June, look at February as those seem to have more success in making it through right now (and there are more of them because it has more volume than any other UY at BLT), but those aren't guaranteed either. The ROFR process is so painful as a buyer, but it is very good as an owner because it protects the value of what you've bought. After you've had some taken and/or fall apart, you just keep trying until one makes it through. The only cost really is your $1000 being tied up and the patience it takes to make it through ROFR. However, they are taking some of them back within 2 weeks just this past week which would've been so much better than the 30 days they were taking. If you really want BLT, just keep going for it, and one will go through.
