Sad update here. While we passed ROFR and went quickly through estoppel, after agreeing to a contract back in MARCH, the seller has backed out of the deal. From the looks of it, prices are up, contracts are few, and we're pretty bummed.

Wow, so sorry. That is frustrating indeed. I had sellers back out at 9 days in ROFR once. Was told it was due to bankruptcy but then saw the contract relisted with another broker. I knew because it was strange size contract of 88 points. I moved on to something better so I am hopeful you will as well.

So exited! Just got news that we passed! I had an old key west contract bought back 3 weeks ago so was hoping this would pass. I knew the price was high so figured that would help us pass!!!!

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. All I can say is the broker bent over backwards trying to make this deal work and went above and beyond for us. They spent an enormous amount of time trying to help these people with advice and financially by dropping commission and the seller still walked away in the 11th hour. At least there are some good people still left out there.

I didn't.... I emailed Shontell from DVCbyResale and asked her when the contract was sent so I could start my ROFR countdown..... my deposit check was cashed on Wed, so I figured I would be waiting awhile..... she replied with.... I'm confused did't you get my email on Friday!!! So I went searching and there it was!!!

After making offers on several contracts that all sold super fast I was finally offered Animal Kingdom 100 point contract by fidelity, so far everything has been completed very quickly despite us being in the U.K. We bought a SS contract in 2015 which took nearly two months before it was sent ROFR. Very impressed with Fidelity. Now the wait begins.
