TOTAL CHAOS :scared1:...7 AM...

:rotfl2:
They were on the bus at 5:50 so were at the "beginning" :rotfl: of the mass rush. The line moved pretty fast but, of course, they encountered the ONE group (of 12) pushing and shoving ... and barreling their way over everyone else so SIL was in an argument EARLY :rolleyes1. Once inside the Pandora area it wasn't so bad since everyone spread out. Flight of Passage was first on their list (they had a FP but wanted to do it twice) and the wait was only about 30 minutes once they got there. Phone connection wasn't the best but I gathered the queue to this was fairly long and VERY interesting. THE RIDE IS AMAZING...they could spend the whole day doing it over and over. She couldn't find the words to accurately describe it; a little like Soarin' but more vast. HINT: "you don't try to look at everything; focus on one spot". On the way out they spoke with a Disney employee and she commented they had been a little worried about guests with motion sickness problems for Flight of Passage. First time DD tried to "see it all" but ended up closing her eyes; she focused on one section the 2nd time and no queasy feelings. Another concern was the ride vehicle but she loved it. She was concerned with leg and back restraints but admitted it actually felt like a massage. :goodvibes They were very disappointed with the River Ride saying it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL but WAY to short; she thinks it's actually shorter than Maelstrom was. She felt bad for the guests that are waiting 2+ hours to ride it. She predicts the wait times on this will drop dramatically once word gets out. Not many opportunities to take pictures because of the crowd but she did get a few of the floating mountains and, of course, my beautiful DGD's :lovestruc:

They're smiling here :rotfl: but that only lasted until about noon :lmao:. Back at Boardwalk Inn now taking naps. :goodvibes The oldest and her Dad gave out first but the Princess stayed with Mom for EE and Rafiki's Planet Watch; at 1 AM they'd already taken 12,000 steps according to her Fitbit. AK is extremely crowded; Dinosaur line was out the door; EE single rider wasn't a bad wait but still close to 30 minutes and even Rafiki's was crowded. They have additional FP's for Flight of Passage for tomorrow evening and hoping to catch the night time shows at AK then also. A two month wait is probably good :goodvibes but you'll still be dealing with the summer crowds. DD will NEVER go over Memorial Day again ; DGD's schedule for the summer made this date a necessity and between her volleyball and soccer in the fall doesn't leave an open week during the entire year....for the next 3 years. DD told her today she'll have to "take the punishment of running" for missing practices for their next trip though...they will NOT go this week ever again. :rotfl: On the bright side; DGD and SIL have played a lot of golf and DD and Princess are spending more time than usual in the spas! :thumbsup2 :tink:

Thanks so much for the review! I really want to ride FoP when we go in October, but I have major concerns for my back. I'm planning on making FP res for it, but I may end up making a last minute decision!

Sorry I've been away for a while. This school year is never going to end and I am exhausted! One more year until I retire. Anyhow, this may not be WDW, but it is the place where my eventual love of WDW began: the NY World's Fair 1964-65. (yes, I am dating myself!)
