Bad- I thought I had an infection in my incision.

Good- No infection and I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour.

Good thing:
Dog went swimming in the river.

Bad thing:
Dog smells like the river and refuses to get in the tub for a bath.

Good - Had fun with DH and good friends/neighbors doing beer tasting out on the patio. Great weather and lots of laughs. (Even though I don't really like beer)

Bad - Had to have A/C tech out on a weekend to replace capacitor ($200+) and came to the realization that a new A/C unit is in our near future (next Spring).

Good - We all woke up this morning.

Bad - We didn't win last nights lottery.

One of my dogs is feeling better today.
The car dealership replaced my car battery free of charge.

Bad:
The other is still sick. Quite sick.
My car wouldn't start because the 3-year old battery was dead.

Good: DW & I lounged in the pool all afternoon watching butterflies & hummingbirds.

Bad: a friend crashed his mud racer at a race in Ohio today & had to be air-lifted to the hospital.

I was working alone, so my husband went in with me. ( My shop is staffed with volunteers, so he was my volunteer today.)
Bad:
Fingers crossed, but nothing so far.

Good: Finally on the mend from a massive tension headache that sent me to the doctor yesterday.

Bad: Since the meds had me feeling so much better I went back to normal life and may have set my recovery back :/

Good thing: I had a pretty decent amount of readers yesterday, according to my morning report.

Bad thing: My team was winning yesterday until an 86th-minute equalizer, and wound up getting a tie. And also, Fox Sports' coverage of the game was abysmal. I'm still mad about both of those things.

Bad: Closed off ramp on freeway to tourist attraction we were headed for. Had to go 20 miles out of the way, zig-zagging through farm lands to access the road.

Bad: Had to wash dishes.

Bad: My insurance changed and a prescription that used to be $10 is now $100

Good: Dgs's Passport renewal was registered today. He is going to Germany to visit family, and attend his Uncle's wedding in September.

Bad: Dh beat me by just 2 points in a card game this afternoon. Albeit, I think he cheated!

Bad - I spent most of the day taking care of my dog and getting him ready for spinal surgery tomorrow.

Good - Knowing my dog will have surgery tomorrow that can correct his problem and get him out of pain.

Reading through this, I noticed @donaldbuzz&minnie and I are the only ones who listed the bad news first and ended with the good. I wonder what that means?
