I just called. For Deluxe resorts:

Poly and Wilderness- 15%
Contemporary- 20%
Grand Floridian- 31%
BWI- 29%
AKL- 18%
BC-25%
YC- 33%

For us, no difference in rate at Wilderness b/n summer discount and AP. Continued frustration with Disney.

A low general public discount to begin with and then no AP discount. Why oh why do I have to love the Poly so much?

Only a few dollars difference for me vs. summer public offer (and more than Orbitz was with $150 (i.e., 15% capped at $150). Mid and late August, BC and CR.

Thanks Tall Todd! Seriously!!!!! That stinks. I have a room at Wilderness Lodge booked under the incredible summer rate and it was a 15% discount. Last year the AP rate for Summer was 35% at Wilderness Lodge.

They just aren't rolling out the same discounts as last year, it's really sad. I'm happy to get my AP discount for my room since there wasn't a deal going during my stay, I had been at WL but switched to CR last week, ended up with a better discount (even though there is a discount on the room I had at WL, I'm only paying a very small difference now between the two rooms). Sad we couldn't get the 35% though

Still no discount for us at AKL Club Level. Bummer.
Even the CM that I talked with said this is the first year in the 20+ years she has been with Disney that she has not seen discounts for CL. She said normally there are a ton of them. I would have been happy with any discount quite honestly. This is the first year that we have not been able to get any kind of offer.

It's so interesting because not much availability is showing up for me for ANY deal, AP or general. However, when I switch to rack rate for same dates, almost all room categories are available all every resort I've checked. I guess they are fairly certain people will book at full price for now. Maybe as it gets closer to summer, they will release more rooms in these deals in a last-minute effort to fill them.

I'm excited about the BC discount! We ended up getting a garden view room instead of standard. I was really tempted to go with YC, it would save about $550, and while I love the rooms at YC I'm just afraid I would regret not staying at BC.

The CM told me to keep checking. Even until the day before we leave. Hopefully something will show up before then. I'm not good at dealing with the constant checking. I nearly pulled all my hair out when trying to get a BOG resie. I finally did, but I'm going to need sunscreen for my head due to the chunks of bald spots of where hair used to be. (just kidding)

I just checked the Poly rates for the week before my arrival since I’m hoping to go the first week in September with a split stay at a value and Poly. Just to get an idea of a passholder discount. I too was surprised and disappointed.

I seriously hope it’s more than 15% or I don’t know if I can justify my split stay. I’m still hoping for 30% for my dates.
