I can't believe we're 16 days away from the first party and still no word on special treats and party merchandise.

I have Slinky Dog Dash FP for 2:50 - 3:50 on the party day I'm attending. What time realistically can I reach MK if I tap in SDD exactly 2:50?

I’d say no later than 4:30, assuming a half hour to ride and an hour to get to MK. Likely sooner, but I always plan for travel delays!

Thanks Sorry for the noob question, but what is the difference of being on the list of itineraries? I only put ToT so early as it doesn't seem like there's too much other stuff to do that early, and so that we won't have to rush too much later. Then again, I'm not too bothered if we miss out on some of the stations either.

If you go the Main page, post #1 you'll see a list of itineraries. They're put there so you have easy access to it before and during your vacation. It's easier to find if you make changes, need help or assurance with your plans and best part no one can erase or edit it. When you need help just post a note. It's a great tool for newbies. Another advantage is you'll be able to update it during the party while waiting in line. That information gets saved and can be useful when planning your next trip. I will say not everyone follows their own itinerary to a "T" which is perfectly fine but they do know where and when to be at specific locations and/or attractions that are important to them.

I’m going to attempt to post an image here to practice. I know how to do it from my phone (which is what I primarily read the disboards on). I just don’t know how to know what the size is!

I've been getting a lot and I mean a lot of PM's regarding the 4" x 5" / 5" x 4" to the point I'm going to have to amend image posting. What you have works perfectly. Remember when posting you don't need to ask questions. You can simply post "I agree." Post, post post!

I’m not sure if it’s the same on a computer, but on my phone when I got to post a picture I click Upload a File, choose Photo Library (that’s where I had the photo, but you’d choose wherever your photo is), and then once it’s loaded I click full image and it inserts the photo into my post.

Okay, so I told myself I wasn’t going to do this… That we would take the party as it came and not have a true plan. But… the closer I get, I want to make sure that we are getting in everything that we want to...

So far, the kids (DD – 12 & DS – 5) haven’t shown any interest in meeting the characters, so I haven’t added them in, but that might change in the next 37 days!

My top priorities are getting some magic shots, riding the party specific rides and the Haunted Mansion, Hallowishes, Boo To You, and doing some ToT…

I looked through some of the other itineraries and made one for us… What do you guys think? Anything glaringly ridiculous? I know that there is a lot of back and forth before the party starts, but I want to get DS on the peoplemover early to see what he thinks on the part through Space Mountain. If he doesn’t freak out then, we will all ride it later during the party… If he does, we will do some tag teaming. Also, we are taking it easy at the resort before the party, so hopefully we will be all rested up to make it to the end of the party!

When: Tuesday, September 11

Who: DH, DD (12), DS (6) and me


3:30-4:10 Arrive at MK, go through bypass & get wristbands, hit some photopass spots if the lines aren’t too long
4:10 – 4:30 soak in atmosphere on Main Street – it’s our 1st time in the MK this trip! – and make our way to Peter Pan
4:30 – 5:00 - Peter Pan (FP 3:35-4:35)
5:00 – 5:30 – mosey over to Frontierland… maybe hit Haunted Mansion or It’s a Small World on the way
5:30 – 6:00 – BTMRR (FP 5:10 – 6:00)
6:00 – 6:30 – checkout the line for Splash Mountain and ride if it’s not too long.
6:30 – 7:15 – head towards Tomorrowland and ride the peoplemover
7:15 – 7:45 – Ride Space Mountain (potentially tag team – DH & DD on SM and DS & I on Buzz)
7:45 – 8:00 - ToT in Tomorrowland - mobile order dinner at casey’s corner
8:00 – 8:30 – Mad Tea Party
8:35 – arrive on Main Street and find a spot for the parade. We know we may not get the best spot at this point and will try to get there earlier… Tag Team with DH to pick up dinner at Casey’s, Photopass with the kids on Main Street & Town Square, and pick up the SotMK card
9:15 – 9:45 – Boo To You Parade
9:40-10:30 Hallowishes on Main Street
10:30 – 10:40 – ToT on the way to Adventureland
10:40 - 11:10 – ride Pirates
11:10 – 11:20 – Make our way to Liberty Square
11:20 – 11:50 – ride Haunted Mansion
11:50 – make our way out of the party… pick up the allergy friendly treats for DS and stop for any photopass people we see.

MAGIC KINGDOM
On August 2, 20, 23, 27, and 30, overnight concrete work will impact the daytime operations of the Main Street Trolley Show and the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. On those dates, the Trolley Show will be using the Main Street Ranch Wagon instead of the Main Street Trolley, and the 11 a.m. Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party will be temporarily canceled.

There was no mention of the 2pm Festival of Fantasy Parade, so it can be assumed that the parade will continue as normal. If anything changes we will update this story immediately.

FYI - MNSSHP takes place on Aug. 23 & 30, so if you have plans earlier in the day you may need to make slight changes.

DH and I are going to Sept 3 MNSSHP, his very first ever!! We aren't dressing up and are totally winging the night, ride what we can and just enjoy our first night in Disney.

So I have a question.....I did not get "tickets" for our MNSSHP. When I called Disney, they stated it will be attached to my MagicBand. Should I take something printed? Like a screenshot, etc?

Just wanted to reach out and let you know I'll be working on a few things for the Halloween gift card giveaway as well as adding news to the itinerary thread. I'll be back full swing on Monday, Aug 6th and will go through your itinerary then. FYI - My 14 year old son tried Space Mountain last year and didn't care for it. I know to each their own but you may want to watch videos, it's a very fast dark ride even for a 5 year old.
