SO, @SouthFayetteFan had me wondering about how many 'likes' I had. I finally figured that out, and then I was looking at the people I follow and they have 'trophy points'. I have NO idea what that means, how they got them and if I have any. Regardless, I want them! So, who can tell me what that is, and do I have any? Oh, I hope I have at least a few Even though I am completely clueless what they mean lol!

Follow up to my new marriott biz card and it not showing up on my online account. @mefordis I had to send a SM to chase but they added it after I let them know it was not showing up. I'm now seeing it in my account. So if yours doesn't show up on it's own, SM works!

We’re here until Wednesday. The morning was great but by the afternoon . . . SO. MANY. PEOPLE! I’ll keep an eye on the crowds. Like finding Albort. Or a diamond in the rough. In any case, have a great trip!!!

We just missed you! We arrived there last Fri and left at 3pm on Monday. The weekend was great, but Monday was INSANE! We decided to sleep in so didn’t get to the gates until 10am and paid dearly for it! The lines into DL almost joined those for DCA. I’ve never seen that before!

anyone know if you can upgrade your spg room with points? Like book the standard and call to apply more points to upgrade? Marriott shows upgrades right on their site. I was considering swan alcove.

I've been wondering this too. What is the swan alcove? I don't see that on their site.

I was able to upgrade a standard room to a balcony with points by calling spg. The standard room was booked with points also. I don't know if you can book a cash rate and upgrade with points if that is what you mean.

Just wanted to add another DP, I too was able to call SPG after booking a standard room with points at the Dolphin, and upgraded to a balcony room for an extra 1,000 SPG points per night.

This was all done before the Marriott announcement though, before March, for a stay in October. Who knows what that process is actually like now.

The Marriott Stellaris Resort and Casino. Always been tempted to stay there, but they have double beds instead of queens so that is a big no in our family.

Click on the “cash back” tab on the app.
You will see in store and online cash back offers.
You will want to activate the ones you are going to use.
Also add your credit cards in the app as that is how they know you purchased with an offer.

As long as you activate the offer and pay with a linked card you will be good to go. Just shop like normal.

For ex: activate Walgreens $5 back on $25 offer. Go shop at Walgreens and buy a $25 GC using linked credit card...freedom if you have one because that is the 5x category this month. Then you will see the offer go pending and post a few days later. Voila! $25 GC for $20 plus the 5x points (7.5x if you redeem thru csr portal).

Can I just get a $30 gift card for the offer at Staples or do I need to get something else with it. I need to look for the Walgreens as well. I haven't made too much attention at what either place sells for GCs.

I just did it last night for Christmas week. Was able to upgrade to the alcove room at Swan for 2,500 points a night. It will be nice to have the extra space.

I see @disneymagicgirl explained the process. Just note, the Walgreens offer of $5 off $25 ends tomorrow (8/15). Someone else may have posted that but I've been away all day and just trying to catch up!!

Thx! I did one instore today but he guy wanted license to verify card ownership so I couldn’t do the deal on dh’s card. Figured I’d try online for that one.
My instore for this morning hasn’t tracked. Hopefully it is just slow.

so far on RMN for me NOTHING has tracked except Walgreens..... WHYYYYYYY I hate this app! I'm waiting the required 15 days(!) and then submitting the receipts bc I did the spending but I don't think I'll use it much after this since it's a time sucker (for me at least) AT least amex offers post right away no troubles....

This is my husband as well...he’s a reluctant P2....will let me open cards in his name..as long as no phone calls etc are required by him .....also checks his credit score weekly...and it’s always in the same range 829-835....of course he’s happy about free trips.....his motto.....”if it’s free it’s for me”

We'll be there too!! Well, maybe not the Marriott, but maybe - depends on how the travel packages shake out.

Keep an eye on that Marriott booking - I think it is dropping to a Cat 5 in the new system - might be the opportunity to get a few points back.

Yeah, the double beds is kind of a bummer, but this hotel seemed the most kid-friendly out of the choices and I want to be on Condado beach. We’ve stayed in double bed rooms before and managed alright.

There is an AC Hotel that has 2-queen rooms but it’s not beach front, and a Courtyard in Isla Verde. If you’re looking for Marriott options in San Juan that have 2-queen rooms. There are also a couple Ritz Carlton properties but I didn’t look at those.

Our Staples only has $50 Disney cards, but it may vary from store to store. I would be great if they had variable load Disney cards like Office Depot.

Is there a way to see the seasonal points rates for Starriott properties? Trying to see how many points the Swolphin will be for Oct. 2019. Trying to decide what card(s) to recommend for DM to get. Thanks!

As far as I know, there is no info out about the seasonal rate adjustments yet. Would be nice to know, for sure!
