Disney Vacation Club members with party tickets can mix in starting at 2pm.

If someone that uses this line could let us know whether they put the wristbands on upon entering, or will those DVC members entering have to wait until 4, I’d appreciate it. I plan on being in line for Jack and Sally before 4 and want to prepare to have a tag team friend before we enter MK.
Update: I called DVC member service and they said that they believe that DVC members entering before 4 would get the wristbands upon entering. If someone could definitely confirm this, that would be great.

I get it. I just started going page by page, reading every single post on the Main thread trying to catch up and find answers. I have read wristbands are being released at 4pm however it is a bit confusing as posters are not stating whether their DVC or not. Ok, I’m going to try and get 10/9 is super quick. Me, DH, DD14, and DS 2:
We have a chef micleys at 12:30, will enter on regular park hopper tickets after this. All FP will be done by 4:45, and we will tag Team getting wristbands at 4 at philharmagic, as most FP will be in fantasyland area for DS. So from 3:45:
3:45-4:10- grab wristbands
4:30-4:45 all ride HM FP(3:40-4:40)
4:45-6:30- rides, snacks, or dinner(whichever we all feel like)
6:30-7:05 meet Pooh and friends
7:10-7:30 meet Cruella(this one is iffy now that it seems she just roams??)
7:35-7:55 meet queen of hearts and tweedles
8-8:20 meet Alice and mad hatter
8:30-8:50 monsters dance party
8:55-9:15 meet lots o
9:20-10:30(10:15) Hallowishes in front of Casey’s. While waiting, tagteam DH and DS to meet mickey(9:25-9:50?) and pick up snacks on the way back to meet me and DD if time
10:35-12 TOT, rides, snacks, any other characters?

We at trying to get a lot of our must do’s the first night and let this one be a little more relaxed. Look good? Enough time for characters?

We are going to be in the park around 12pm and doing our FP and some rides before eating at Crystal Palace. My daughter would like to meet Jack & Sally and Jasmine/Genie. However, I'm not sure I want to wait in lines that long, we may have to negotiate


Here's what I'm thinking for my itinerary. Would love any suggestions!


2:10-3:20pm Crystal Palace
3:20- 3:30pm Pick up Sorcerers card?
3:30- 3:50pm Get Wristband in bypass?
4:00- 6:00pm Meet Jack & Sally (is this too long?)
6:15- 7:00pm get treats maybe do Pirates of Caribbean
7:00-7:20pm Jasmine/ Genie
7:20-8:00pm trick or treat in Adventureland
8:00-8:15 HM magic shots
8:15-8:45pm trick or treat through fantasyland
8:45-9:15 mad tea party
9:15-9:45pm meet Goofy
9:45-10:30pm Fireworks in hub
10:30-11:15pm Villian spectacular
11:15-11:45pm boo to you parade

I just sent a PM to that PP about if they had wristbands on before getting in line for Jack and Sally and if CMs were checking for wristbands before 4 pm. Hopefully I get a response back.

6- 6:30 – space mountain/people mover/ speedway/whatever looks good and we have time for
6:30 – TAG TEAM: get in line for stitch/ someone get snacks (might sub out for Mickey or other character; just figured we were in tomorrowland already)
7:30-9:00 Rides and Trick or Treating around rest of the park (HM, small world, little mermaid, etc). Possible M&G with Cinderella/Elena , Aladdin group if lines reasonable
9:15-10pm – parade wherever we can see from, or go get M&G photos? any characters having shorter lines at this point?
10:15-10:45 – hallowishes, again from wherever we are (frontierland was suggested to us)
11 pm-midnight – last few rides or photos, headless horseman shot as leaving



Priorities: Rides, photos, fun. Dont care about special treats, shopping, or any shows particularly.

This is my first every MNSSHP and our only disney day this trip. I want us to be able to get the full disney experience and go home with some great photos and meet a character or two, though Im not picky about *who* since I have concerns about my son crying meeting characters and thus wasting an hour in line haha. I think I would like to try to the malificent cone, but wont go out of my way for it. I also am thinking we dont want to be right up front for fireworks or even parade, since my son has never seen either and might be scared.

You will not be able to pick up your SOTMK card without your wristband. Wristbands will be issued at several locations inside the park beginning at 4 pm. Closest to the bypass would be Tomorrowland, but if you want to meet Jack & Sally you need to line up for them ASAP. Since you’ll already be in the park, head there as soon as you have your band. Pick up your card once you are back on Main Street later in the night. You should be done with J&S prior to 6.

Jasmine and Genie come out at 7:30 (they trade off on the half hours with Aladdin and Abu). Plan to line up by 7:15 to ensure you get Jasmine/Genie. I’d budget this from 7:15-8:00.

I’d also plan to meet Goofy prior to Fantasyland ToT and Mad Tea Party. The line for his M&G should drop during the parade. Then do your rides and trick or treating as you make your way into the hub for Hallowishes.

Thank you! I was thinking of maybe getting the wristbands at another location instead of the bypass. Hopefully I can find some nice people! Do we know if you can start lining up without the wristbands that early? I was actually getting a bit worried about what I'd do if she needs to go to the bathroom while we were in line! My parents are usually with us on trips however they're leaving the day before. Will be my first time solo with her at Disneyworld

I honestly think if she sees how long we'll have to wait she'll say nevermind. But who knows!

Hi Everyone! Love this board, and this thread - so much great information. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

Just a quick clarification here - can someone explain to me how Tag Team works logistically? I understand the definition listed on page 1 of this thread. However I don't understand how one would act upon this in certain lines. Let's use Moana's 2018 line in the Tiki Room for example. If you are close to the front of the line in the switch back part (and you check that those immediately around you are happy to accommodate a tag team), how do you get BACK to your party? Do you have to talk to EVERYONE behind you first, or is it just a generally accepted method for these character waits? Isn't annoying to have to bump and ask (of course politely) through the crowd to get back to the start? I can understand when the line is just a "straight" line outside, easy to pop in and out. But I am wondering about situations like the above. Thanks!

You can get in line at 3:30 without wristbands but I would expect the cast members to start checking for them soon after 4. That will give you 30 minutes to strike up a conversation with your new neighbors and arrange to allow tag teaming between the two of you.
I don’t think that your daughter will be put off by the size of the line at 3:30. Maybe telling her that it’s going to be a 90 minute to 2 hour wait might make an impression.

This is our first time at MNSSHP, so I'm still a bit overwhelmed at an itinerary within an itinerary, so bear with me.

Have lunch at resort around noon.
2pm - Arrive at MK
1:50-2:50 FP - PotC
Dole whip
Jungle cruise if we can fit it in or maybe train around park
4:15 FP Splash mountain
5:25 FP BTMRR
6pm DISmeet at HM? I was told this was for adult/singles, so maybe not...I'm not single and according to DW, not an adult
Whatever rides we can fit in and/or PP opportunities and/or trick or treating
8:30 Hocus Pocus
9:15 Boo to you parade
10:15 Hallowishes
More rides and Trick or treating
Special event only snacks as options present themselves.

These are my plans thus far!

What does everyone think?? I dont want it to be so crazy planned we miss the atmosphere of the party!
