What are your thoughts on planning for Monday 11/5? Rare double EMH morning - HS and AK.

We are doing MK at RD to take advantage of the expected low crowds since the park closes at 4:30. We have FP+ starting at 5 for DHS.

We are also planning MK on 11/5 to hopefully take advantage of lower crowds. I'm wondering if they are ever going to add EMH for 11/4 since there are none listed for that day.

I think they moved AM EMH at DHS to Monday due to the marathon on the weekend. It’s usually on Sunday. That’s what i read anyway so i don’t see them adding EMH on 11/4.

Tomorrow is my fast pass day and I'm stressing a little. We have a group of 8 and we are doing Animal Kingdom on day 4. I'm really hoping we can get FP for FOP, even if it's later in the evening. If not, the only other day I can put AK is Thursday, when we have a 4 pm dinner reservation for Ohana. I'd pretty much have to give that up, as my group is not early risers, and won't even make it to the park until around lunch time. AK is our favorite park, so we need more than 3 hours there.

Also switched up Epcot EMH -I assume so Epcot evening EMH would fall during an Xmas party.

They are both available on day 1. Pretty wide open for toy story. Aliens a little bit more into the PM.

Great! Fingers crossed that’s the case for my 60 day window. We are getting there later in the day, so I’d be looking for times after 5-6pm anyway.

My sister is heading down before us and I just booked some fast passes for her since she is travelling and I just got the three of them Slinky on 11/5, which is the fourth day of their trip. I just did that at 5 pm, so I would check back if you wanted it. I was actual surprised because there was a fair amount of time options.

Maybe you guys help me with this. Me & DH are planing on going maybe two more times next year doing short trips for two and doing a long trip again with whole family in November hoping to get Free dining for the whole family if it is offered. Wanting to do a 5 day trip before family comes after Thanksgiving. We have the free dining promo for the 24th thru the 30 this year but check in on the 23rd for 1 night due to flights there are cheaper and and doing a check out on the 30th but only to check back in for 1 day due to the flights home again. My question is we are thinking of getting AP while we are there. Since I am on free dinning for the 24th to 30th can we when we get there before going to our first park upgrade to AP or do we have to use these first? I am hoping we can just upgrade and since we are wanting to do a couple of short trips next year and use it again before it expire in November before the whole family trip.

If all else fails book FP for those you know will get up early and go and meet up later with the rest of the group. When we do whole family I usually pay for them all I tell them we are not here to sleep in late we are here to have fun, I do try on some days to schedule later morning stuff so they can sleep in a little. We are usually a park open to park close type of family, but not everyone is. I hope you able to get your FOP. I was able to get one for me and my DS and got there only to see that it was down and they had know ideal how long it would be down. It was actually down most of the day so I never got to do it. Hoping this trip I get at least one for my self. DH will not ride hardly anything he is a big chicken, I actually got him on the dino ride one time and he got off and said he was never riding anything with me again.

I will try to update to see if anything pops up, but our DAK day is 60+2 so I wasn't overly hopeful to be honest. Everything else we got what we wanted. I will have taken a year off from Disney since my last trip and I was disappointed to see they moved the Character Spot in Epcot to a Tier 1.

We had planned on MK on 11/5 as well and dinner at Hoop De Doo since it closes early. We have talked about trying to do EMH at DAK for FoP and then hopping to MK though for our FastPasses and whatever strikes our fancy.

I was disappointed to see Character spot at tier 1 too. I love meeting characters there but I can’t justify not getting test track, frozen, or soarin for it

My FP day is in a couple of days. I’m PST so I have to wake up at 4am for it.
I’m hoping to get 60+3 SDD, 60+4 SDMT and 60+6 FOP. I may have to RD HS and just settle for saucers but we’ll see. It’s all starting to feel real!

After a lot of freaking stress due to Disney's absolutely horrendous IT, I did get everything I needed, including FOP for 8 on day 4 and Slinky Dog for 8 on day 5. But I let out a torrent of curse words, because it was glitching up for the first twenty minutes after 7 am. So glad that is over. I took pictures of everything, because I do not trust Disney IT one bit.

Finally got out dates solidified. Nov 10-15, trying to figure out parks

Kids are 8, 6 and 4 (all very tall for their age).

I'm thinking:
Sat, Nov 10 Hollywood Studio
Sun, Nov 11 MK
Mon, Nov 12 Epcot
Tue, Nov 13 MK (& Christmas party)
Wed, Nov 14 Animal Kingdom
Thur, Nov 15 MK


I have no clue what to fast pass at each park. I feel so behind! Thoughts?
