I can't teach DH how to fold tshirts in the normal way, he watched her fold them on that show and was like WHAT IS THAT CRAZINESS
I actually got a letter in the mail...twice...telling me no lol.Did they email you a response? I put in my first backdoor request a week ago and haven't heard a thing. Also haven't seen any extra AA points pop up anywhere (although last time I didn't see the extra 15k AA for a few weeks after they approved my request under the old SM system).
The high was 55 here at home in CA yesterday and I was wearing my warm boots and snow jacket. Some people cannot cold. Imho someday science will find we're genetically defective, it's not our faultI'm not exaggerating when I say that I hibernate when it is below 50. Between 50 and 60 I will at least check the mail and run into a store. 45 with shorts on!?!?
I was shocked at the rack rate at the new property tbh. I keep thinking Disney can't shock me like that anymore and yet they most certainly can...I think its insane that the 2 person room costs as much as it does and it only has a murphy bed in the room. I love WDW and don't pay rack rate, but that room category really shocked me a little
I did the 5 suite nights since the 5 elite nights would have counted towards 2018 and would have been of 0 value to me, didn’t need a discount of an overpriced mattress or a donation to charity. Even if I get one or two uses. It was the best of the options.Marriott Platinum Elite members, what benefit did you choose? I'm thinking Suite nights, but do I have to use the 5 nights on one reservation? or can I use them on 5 separate nights? I'm asking because we will have 4 certificates, I would like to use them with those nights since we probably won't ever pay for any marriott nights.
You have a new pic too! (And it is absolutely adorable!)Checked Arcadia Power and I don't see a savings for us. The only option I see is to pay them money each month to offset our usage, which would be the opposite. I do have the option to pay my electric via cc and do that already each month, I was interested in savings I saw mentioned.
Ha, I live in MN and I cannot stand the cold either!!! But 55 would feel glorious right now, our forecasted high for a week from today is -7! UGH! That is also dog agility class night, where I sit in a chair for 2 hours watching which ever dog isn't training at the time, in a giant warehouse type building. I freeze my buns off every week, next week I may just die in there. The high was 55 here at home in CA yesterday and I was wearing my warm boots and snow jacket. Some people cannot cold. That was a solid life call. It downpoured my last trip starting exactly as our train left the 7DMT station and stopped exactly as we left the exit line into Fantasyland. That ride was horrible, eyes closed, and all any of us wanted to do was get off the stupid thing. The only time I've ever thought 7DMT was too long! We were a soaked bunch of people walking off that ride because no one had their ponchos at that point. We did the free DVC equivalent of MK DAH last January and it POURED for almost the entire time. It was still a blast! We saved Big Thunder and 7 Dwarves until the rain slowed down...
once I learned to 'tidy' lol my towel closet is now a pristine thing of beauty!I wonder if I have my towels folded properly. The few times DH has helped, I have had to re-fold them since they weren’t right in my mind. All of our closets and drawers look like beautifully sorted rainbows.
mine said the same thing until he opened his shirt drawer today and I heard him say "WOW".... it's unbelievable how much extra space it opens upI can't teach DH how to fold tshirts in the normal way, he watched her fold them on that show and was like WHAT IS THAT CRAZINESS
Ah poop, I may have goofed up my calculations. I'm not used to having an AF card with AmEx, been almost 10 years since my last one
So Gary from VftW wrote it out this way, which I think is correct based on how they've been doing the charge card changes lately - "The card’s annual fee will increase from $95 to $125 starting with new accounts and renewals from March 28, 2019. " I think from the TPG article, when you sign up for the card the agreement says "$0 AF first year, $95 AF after" or something like that so it's in the terms what you get for those two years and they can't change it until year 3. For the rest of us it may depend on when our AF hits.
So now I'm in a pickle, my anniversary is 3/5, I think my statement closes around 3/20, will my AF be on that statement and I'll make it this year? Or is it the statement after that and I'm screwed? I'm always confused by people saying the 13th AmEx statement.
ETA: Oh well, since it was my first year last year, then I should be held to those terms too. So I think that's why I was thinking I was safe before. Hm, now to go verify the agreement. Others might be screwed though

No, but I need warm too. I am so over this winter and we've had so little and it's been mild. I feel bad complaining. It doesn't help that my dh applied for a job in FL yesterday...So, I have visions of much warmer weather dancing in my headHas anyone ever stayed here? I am just hanging out, on yet another cold, gray, rainy day, wishing for a trip to somewhere warm...
