Thank you for the info on the AKV purchase. We got nervous and pulled out. We have since made an offer on a SSR contact for a few more points, which I think will be better in the long run. We are going through Andy at DVCresalemarket.com. Anyone have experience with this company? They seem to be legit and I should have any concerns right?

Nope they are good. I purchased through them previously and am waiting to hear back from disney on a second contract through them now.

We’ve used them twice and just worked with Andy on our most recent purchase. They’re a large, well-known resale company that’s been very easy to work with.

Did not work with Andy but we are working with https://www.dvcresalemarket.com and they have been great to work with. Very professional get back to you very fast thru phone or email . Will definitely use them again if we need to add anymore.

I think you got the numbers mixed up, the 2018 points are hopefully banked into 2019 otherwise they would expire IMO the numbers should either be 0/18, 270/19, 135/20 or better yet 0/18, 135/19, 270/20

I really hope that those 2019 points have been banked to 2020, the deadline for banking was 09/30

Once the contract is loaded with the points - it should read as 0/18, 135/19, 270/20. We wouldn't have bid on a contract with 270 points expiring on 1/31/20 or at least not as high as we did

I must have misunderstood the format request since to me 2018 point are still 2018 points even when banked into 2019.... make any sense?

The post is just formatted incorrectly, the points are fine.

If the seller agrees to use a title company don't they usually get involved prior to sending the contract to Disney? I know with a broker that's how it goes, but I've never purchased directly from an individual.

I will say I didn't get any information form the Title Company and just got information from the Escrow company today. Even though supposedly the ROFR went to Disney 10/29. This was with Fidelity and accepted offer was on 10/28.

Thanks @Jenniebee! We offered $2 less than the listing price. Not as good a deal as our first contact at the end of 2017 ($84 point!!!), but in today's market, definitely a good deal. Very happy with our LAST add-on in 1.5 years... Really - the last one.
