I had the same experience @StephPlum. I applied as a sole proprietor and was astounded at what they wanted and just called uncle and did nothing.

Freaking BoA. There's a reason @SouthFayetteFan and I REALLY dislike this bank! They have a couple cards I am interested in but I just will not enter into another relationship with BoA.

I like to read others' plans here..... for some reason I sometimes feel like I plan 'too much' in a year.... but comparitively speaking I don't! :rotfl2: (Maybe it's b/c most of my friends don't travel much) 2020 plans
Feb- NYC concert weekend (Josh Groban!)
April- Universal Orlando- 7 nights extended fam trip
October- 12 days Panama canal cruise
and that's it! I'd like to sprinkle a few weekends here and there doing some travel, but that'll be more last minute. Esp. to visit family that lives far away. For me, 3 solid trips a year planned is a good rhythm.... which is why I love points so much, since it's fairly easy to change stuff around if needed.

Plans so far.
March - Southern California (Joshua Tree NP, Death Valley NP) and Vegas (Valley of Fire SP and Red Rock Canyon SP)
May - Utah - not finalized yet
July - Glacier NP
September - Rocky Mountain NP
October - Seattle
 jealous...... this sounds great ...were you able to use points for any of these places?

Anyone else utilize Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts? I see that the same hotel for the same date is much cheaper through Amex than Chase Luxury Hotel Collection.... anyone know why?
I've used it at hotels I dont have status with I even tried with some I did they wouldn't recognize my any status but points. I think it because Amex makes deals with the chains because Amex people "spend more" they also act as a travel agent to be a benefit of the card.

agree not a fan of boa that big bonus card is tempting (the one where if you have brokage accounts etc the multiplier is pretty high(premium rewards card I want to say). But they have never been good to me which is the reason I stay away from them and wells fargo.

2020 plans:

Starting the new year out at UO (just two nights on AA miles and three day park-to-park tickets using UR points). Round trip non-stop flights to Tampa using RR points/companion pass.

late Feb/early March: Trip to Naples to stay with my parents for a week. Using RR points to fly into RSW

August: DCL Alasksa flying into Seattle on RR points/companion pass. Staying at a Marriott for two nights on points and seeing a Mariners game. Will probably buy City Pass (maybe with UR points). Taking Amtrak Cascade to Vancouver and one night in Vancouver on a Marriott certificate. Cruise (almost paid for--only $575 to go) paid with discounted gift cards. Flying home the same day on UR points (last time we did this we had two connections and did a red eye which made everyone grumpy).

Probably need to be more conservative next year since these mostly free trips seem to cost me a fortune when I buy Broadway tickets, MLB tickets, etc. and I need to get my house painted and I'm only 16 months away from having two teenage drivers.

Lol, sorry you have to work. I am so glad I am off until January 2. I need this break.

I really need a break, but one of my favorite coworkers has his last day on Tuesday and he's asked me a couple times about whether I'm going to be in every day until then, so I'm going to come in to see him. My new boss starts next Thursday so definitely won't be any breaks after that.

I got ds a google nest hub for Christmas. Was only $40 at Target. Now I want one for the kitchen. Works so well as a digital frame and plays YouTube tv. I love my echos but maybe time to switch over.
I got a free Echo Show with our Ring Doorbell, I have been having fun with that, and thinking now I need to buy one with an 8 inch screen to add to this one with the 5 inch screen.

Just got my notification from RMN about the cashback from the Best Buy deal last month! My DD loved the earpods and l loved saving money on them!
All of mine have paid out on Disney gift card purchases from BB:) I have one more left for a soundbar we got my parents for Christmas (dad isn't impressed you can talk to it to tell it to increase the volume:)

My sister has the Show (she got it from work when it first came out). I really want the Nest Hub Max but not for $220! And now I think I need the nest doorbell thing (not that I ever answer the doorbell:)
