We just booked POP for the first time for a night in April. We have the choice of 50s or 80s building for preferences. What are the current thoughts on that with the Skyliner now?
Pop isn't a very large resort, especially if you are only staying for 1 night. Either location would be fine but technically 50's section is closer to the Skyliner. We just booked POP for the first time for a night in April. I would recommend calling. Sometimes the Disney CMs can see things we cannot see online.Has anyone been able to see availability in September 2020? I have been playing around with my dates (3rd to 12th) and looking at all options and there is nothing available.

Update: I would recommend trying looking again. I can see availability at Pop for your dates.
I’m going to take this offline and PM you.Are you looking at room, package or sun & fun room discount?
There is two of us - adults.
I am just looking for options before booking this and would prefer not to ring from NZ!

I'm guessing they booked Standard Pool View. Were these your only 2 choices? We had all areas listed for preferences. Does this mean anything?

Is the 50s section “standard”?Pop isn't a very large resort, especially if you are only staying for 1 night. Either location would be fine but technically 50's section is closer to the Skyliner.
There are standard rooms in all three of the 50’s buildings. Is the 50s section “standard”?
All sections at Pop are made up of more than 1 room category. Depending on where a room is located determines its category. Is the 50s section “standard”?
Great consolidation. The only update I would add is the following:50s: Preferred View rooms, Standard Pool View rooms, Standard rooms.
60s: Preferred Pool View rooms, Preferred View rooms, Standard rooms.
70s: Preferred View rooms, Standard rooms.
80s, 90s: Standard Pool View rooms, Standard rooms.
Sometimes "view" means location.
Yes there are single cup pod style machines in the rooms.I can't remember if there are coffee pots in the rooms. Is there?
In these types of pots can you just put water through them?Yes there are single cup pod style machines in the rooms.
