Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

We just booked POP for the first time for a night in April. We have the choice of 50s or 80s building for preferences. What are the current thoughts on that with the Skyliner now?

Pop isn't a very large resort, especially if you are only staying for 1 night. Either location would be fine but technically 50's section is closer to the Skyliner.

Has anyone been able to see availability in September 2020? I have been playing around with my dates (3rd to 12th) and looking at all options and there is nothing available.

I would recommend calling. Sometimes the Disney CMs can see things we cannot see online.

Update: I would recommend trying looking again. I can see availability at Pop for your dates.

Are you looking at room, package or sun & fun room discount?
There is two of us - adults.
I am just looking for options before booking this and would prefer not to ring from NZ!

Were these your only 2 choices? We had all areas listed for preferences. Does this mean anything?

50s: Preferred View rooms, Standard Pool View rooms, Standard rooms.
60s: Preferred Pool View rooms, Preferred View rooms, Standard rooms.
70s: Preferred View rooms, Standard rooms.
80s, 90s: Standard Pool View rooms, Standard rooms.

Sometimes "view" means location.

Great consolidation. The only update I would add is the following:

Preferred View rooms. There is no 'view' in that description as they only refer to location, not view.

Thanks for the map. This helps a lot. I booked a Standard room and requested Lake View, 60s building. I have a great idea where I may end up... Right where I was hoping.
