Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens March 4th!

If anyone was there this morning around 6-6:30 and got put in the front parts of the RD line set up, please report back on how they are handling RD for MMRR
There were a few folks from TP/Lines chat at RD this morning. They had MMRR OPEN at 6:50 when gates opened, so of course everyone flocked straight there! They did not hold crowds until 8.

I would expect wait time to drop once people can get on other attractions :)

There is no way it is 5 hours. They have to be posting that to spread the crowds. It would take like 75% of the crowd to be in one line for it to be that long. Each day recently SDD and MFSR have been around 2-2.5 hour wait each morning. It would take both those lines being virtually empty to get MMRR at a 5 hour wait.
it is easily 4 hours now, I just saw the crowds.

Watching the video of the ride I had a smile on my face the whole time. I was expecting a few more animatronics but other then that it looks fun.

We have 2 days planned for HS and my excitement for this ride went from a 1 and done to having it as a try to go a second time on day 2

Today is different, (MAYBE) since they let them access the ride before 8a. The thing I am most interested in is the normal process they will use for RD queue. As @yulilin3 said "he just showed the queue, it snakes out of the building and spills into the Chinese theater courtyard and snakes around all the way to center stage". If they are having people lineup and wait inside the building for RD then try for a BG freaks me out. I plan to be arrive around 6:20a for a 8a opening on 3/30 and RD MMRR. I just dont know how to handle a BG if we are waiting inside.

Any idea of throughput yet, if it doesn't break down?
A Disney source told Martin Smith (martinsvids on YouTube) that the theoretical capacity is 2400. With Trains of 32, that indicates that the ride cannot dispatch more frequently than 48 seconds to maintain sufficient clearance between the vehicles.

Martin’s guess was 1800-2000 actual operating capacity.

I’m slightly more optimistic, as I don’t think they’ll struggle to hit the 48 second dispatch intervals most of the time (especially with a separate ADA load), but at the end of the day, it’s going to come down to how full they get the trains. If they seat a lot of groups of 3, it may be closer to that 1800.

It's funny how much I'm now looking forward to this ride that I barely knew anything about 6 months ago. I'm there in 10 days and, while I didn't luck into a FP for the ride, it's still my #2 most anticipated ride for the trip.

Looks like early reports regarding capacity and fast loading are true. It appears to really churn out guests.

If this holds true I will definitely front of the line RD this (have SDD FP+) so that I can be on and off pretty efficiently so I can move on to the next ride while others are waiting longer for SDD and MFSR.
