Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Okay, so I know it might not be much to all of you 'seasoned club level-ers', but I just booked my first ever club level resort stay for December....at Wilderness Lodge in a deluxe room. I'm beyond happy, but mainly because I can be at my favorite resort during the Christmas holiday. :) I'm only worried that once I dip my toe into the world of Club Level, it will be difficult to go back! :)

Congrats! I've found there's two kinds of people at WDW, those that fall in love with CL and want to do it every trip....if possible and those that it's a one and done. Rarely do I hear of someone saying they're somewhere in the middle.
Hope you love it and going during Christmas just adds a whole other level to the magic. The lodge is beautiful but the lodge at Christmas is breathtaking and being able to sit in the lounge along the railing drinking your morning coffee and just taking it all in is unforgettable. I see more CL stays in your future!

Buffets, in my opinion will become server only. The public side will be blocked by plexiglass simply because we don't want people talking over the food. This will require adding a cast members to Club level for the short term.

Thanks, this makes sense. I could see at WL having someone standing at the doorway of that little buffet room asking each guest: "what would you like?" and then putting it on one's plate. Similar for BWI.

No in the Atrium Club TPV room is a booking category. So you can specifically book a TPV room in the Atrium Club and expect to get it. It is only the Tower Club where you can't actually book a TPV room for 2 reasons. However is I posted earlier if you get one of the 2 King rooms on the Tower Club level you will get a TPV by default.

I was questioning this:
"My TA said CR TPV is booked up for 50th anniversary weekend. "

It sounded like poster was saying all TPV rooms on the atrium level were booked. Still not sure if this is the case.

Thanks, everyone, for the advice about booking a Tower Club queen room. It sounds like I spoke to a new or just uninformed CM when I called. This was a few months ago. It‘s encouraging to know others have successfully booked this using essentially the same terminology I was using when I called! We decided to stay at WL instead for that trip, but if we decide to try Tower Club in the future, I’ll call back if I get a CM who’s confused again!

Well, I didn't want to be the guinea pig, but I'd rather be the guinea pig then have my trip cancelled, so we will be flexible and willing to enjoy whatever amount of club level Disney is able to provide if they don't cancel any further. I'm scheduled to check in to AKL CL on June 14, so if they don't cancel any further, I will be among the first to visit CL after quarantine,. I will be sure to keep everyone posted, I will not cancel, if they are open I will be at AKL CL on June 14!

I’ve never ever booked a 499 day trip before lol. It was kinda fun for a change,

This was a first for me too...lol. I've always just waited for rates to be released and then waited a little longer for discounts before I booked, but I am excited that I was able to get a reservation for the 50th weekend :goodvibes.

I agree! It's also very relaxing to sit and watch guests coming and going down in the lobby :cloud9:.

I called Wednesday afternoon and booked BLV CL as all TPV Atrium CL rooms were sold out 🙁 .

wow, I can't believe it. I saw trishadono's post and decided to book CR, I didn't even realize it was the 50th. I requested BLV as usual and I didn't think to ask about TPV. I wasn't going to call back because it takes so long to get a live person!

Oh I know....looks like a lot of people had the same idea. I didn't realize it was the 50th either until a friend of mine texted me and mentioned she booked. Shortly after that I called and was able to get BLV CL, but sadly TPV CL was sold out. The more I think about the trip, the more excited I get :goodvibes.

Appreciate the discussion about what CL might look like going forward (watchin' YOU, Ariel620!!! :magnify:). We've stayed CL at YC several times and have a CL reservation at BWI August 1 - 8. I'd REALLY wanted to get the extra FPs, but obviously that's not happening, and I completely understand.

Same here.

The funny thing is, as a kid I always wanted to stay at CR because of the monorail, but as an adult it wasn't a priority to try because I'm underwhelmed by the theming. But as soon as I booked, I got really excited!

Always worth a call to CRO but due to the 50th celebration, inventory at the CR is expected to be extremely limited as of now but I always say to keep checking.

There are only 22 TPV rooms in the Atrium Club vs 24 BLV CL rooms. There are a mix of connecting rooms and a couple that are HC Accessible. So not much Atrium CL inventory to work with at any time much less for the 50th.

The only CLs smaller then the Atrium Club would be the Tower Club (2 King rooms (TPV) / 3 Queen rooms (1 TPV & 2 BLV + Suites) and the finally the Tonga Suites at the Polynesian.

The CR was never on our list to try as the theme/décor just never appealed to us either, but then over the last year or so I kept reading great reviews of CR CL, which peaked my curiosity. Got a decent AP discount for this past December, so I booked BLV CL (no TPV CL available) and I just loved it! I didn't go into it thinking I wouldn't like it, but I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. The lounge, CL CMs, etc were just amazing.....made for a very nice weekend before Christmas trip. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to returning next year for the celebration. Enjoy the anticipation, I'm sure you'll have a great stay :goodvibes.

I agree! Never hurts to keep checking :).

I am thinking that they will have to continue to make club level attractive or everyone is going to ditch their CL reservations. I know I would.

agreed. Even though I don't have a CL room booked right now, I'm still looking at the possibility of upgrading my deluxe room at BC to a CL room, but it's gotta be worth it. From what I read from various sites, I don't know if it's the same at all resorts, but the rooms themselves aren't anymore special than your standard rooms. Not a guarantee the view will be better, could get the same view as a regular room.

Sounds like it's all about the lounge, and the little extra treatment you get

Good luck. Hope you get to go. I appreciate you taking one for the team 🤣 honestly, I wish I was right there with you.

I spaced out for a second and couldn't figure out BLV. Being quarantined has made me lose my mind. I have since figured it out. 🤪
